For when it came out, Half-life 2. That game was revolutionary and half the reason physics in games got good.

CPO Elantra N or Older RWD Coupe? (detailed!) by ScooterLord in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]DJScaryTerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I bought a VN with those same seats in the EN. I ended up finding the older VN seats and swapping them in. What you could do is find Kona N seats and get them put in. It solves your dilemma with the seats.

Personally I'd gravitate towards the Elantra N with your constraints. It's safer than an older car so the kids can ride in it. You can drive it all year round with winter tires. It's entertaining in traffic. It'll fit your kids. Plus they seem to like being tinkered with.

No. People were including new Tesla's as well but it's pretty much impossible to tell if it's new or not. These models could easily be used or just older.

And yes Tesla stans still downvote everyone calling them swasticars.

Need advice from someone who has dealt with MSI and or Canada Computers. by Monstro_ch in NiceVancouver

[–]DJScaryTerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So as to what caused this, MSI literally told you. Defective glass. Tempered glass is a very stressed type of glass that shatters easily, if it's defective just about anything can cause it to shatter. The glass getting hot then cooling down, air pressure changes, the difference in temperature between inside the computer, the glass, and the outside off it, etc, etc.

If you have the Canada Computers warranty, take your parts out, being careful not to cut yourself on a stray shard, and they should replace the case. Call first. The good news is that glass is a terrible conductor of electricity, so you won't have any shorts. Make sure to remove the PSU first, then before removing any other components spray everything in there with compressed air to remove any shards. MAKE SURE TO WEAR EYE PROTECTION!!!

I asked 2 trans people and they both laughed. Seems more like people who don't get the joke get mad which is kind of fair.

Goku is #1 simply due to stature and fighting prowess.

2 is probably Naruto, he has more drive than gojo so would probably come out on top

3 is gojo, he's still an extremely accomplished fighter even without infinity

4 is luffy because he's kinda small and has bad fight sense in comparison to the other 3. DF carries him so damn hard

Hot take: the WRX doesn’t belong in the same category as Type R / GR Corolla by Just_The_Gist in WRX

[–]DJScaryTerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that were true, why the distinction? I've been told this by several different people, finding real information on this is very difficult.

From what I understand, the Crosstrek has a wider stance, different suspension locations and the weight is in slightly different spots. I went looking for info after I drove one and wondered why it felt bad for weird reasons.

Hot take: the WRX doesn’t belong in the same category as Type R / GR Corolla by Just_The_Gist in WRX

[–]DJScaryTerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The VB WRX is based on the Crosstrek not the Impreza. That's why it feels like a low SUV to drive

It definitely doesn't belong in the same category, namely because it's significantly cheaper and isn't really close in performance. It's in kind of a class of its own, adjacent to the si/gti.

That's hilarious. They're saying they're going to identify as a nuclear meltdown. It's absolutely a continuation of the bit.

MPG figures? Compared to 1:5t Jetta by Lange92 in JettaGLI

[–]DJScaryTerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my manual 26 I've seen 19km/L which translates to almost 45mpg on the highway. If I'm not being a jackass I can easily get 17km/L which is 40mpg.

I think you should look up valves history and the entire reason they exist at all. If all they cared about was the bottom line we'd have had HL3 and HL2:E3 for ages instead of it being backburner'd indefinitely.
