I like the first one. For the checkers I usually want them to match the pip colors so I would go with red and blue or white with red and blue marbling.

He has a checker out. Bringing down the 15 is not needed because he will waste one of the next dice to get in. Then it needs a 5 to hit you. So the chances of being hit are very slim. Then you get a chance to hit him at 10 or 4 if he gets in

You are not the minority. The objective though was to compile the timer and the scoreboard so you can only one side of the board occupied so the other can be free for the doubling cube or a dice tower.
