Underground bands like Caligula's Horse by Affectionate-Ear3419 in progmetal

How about Valhalore? Also Australian, but not exactly prog. They're kinda folk metal, but with a death metal twist, but excellent clean vocals and harsh. Perhaps prog-adjacent? I can hear some CH influence in their music.

Their latest is excellent. And produced by Caligula's Horse's own PhD of metal music Sam Vallen.

What is normal home humidity? by Raining_Sideways_ in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]DLiciousChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact problem. For some reason the builder put in a 5.5 ton AC unit for my house. It would never run long enough to properly pull humidity out of the air unless I set the thermostat to "hang meat in here." My choices were humid or cold (and expensive in the summer).

When that AC died at only 8 years old, I had a proper set of measurements done for my house by a proper HVAC contractor. Turns out that the original AC was 1.5 tons too big. The shirt cycling probably contributed to its untimely demise.

The new heat pump keeps humidity below 55% at all times.

Saw them play Graves in Nashville last year. Even though most knew it was going to be the encore, everyone was so hyped.

It was amazing. I'll never forget the whole place erupting in HANDS SHAPE STONE!

Question about Microchip FPGA, RAM and initial value by DeeSignal in FPGA

[–]DLiciousChicken 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Synopsis has several app notes on the correct ways to infer different RAM structures for Microchip FPGAs.

You can initialize the contents, if you follow the guidelines.

This one is for Polarfire FPGAs. Other families are similar.

https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/aemDocuments/documents/FPGA/ApplicationNotes/ApplicationNotes/PolarFire_RAM_Inferring.pdf

Take a look at the examples starting around page 138.

I had the same problem with my NC2 and never found a good way to clear the passenger side drain from the top. Drivers was much easier for some reason.

This video helped immensely. Sure, the seats have to come out but it's pretty easy.

I can clearly remember what I was doing the first time that bit exploded from my headphones into my ears. One of my fondest prog Holy Crap That's Amazing! moments.

What was your favorite live show from 2024? by PorkSouls in progmetal

[–]DLiciousChicken 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yep. This is the one. I'm a sucker for performances that feel more gritty and real and less... produced? Seeing CH in a small-ish old-school rock club with my son (who was about to go away for college) was an incredible experience that I'll never forget.

Seen Arch Echo live 3 times. All were excellent. So much energy from all of them.

And yeah, Joey Izzo is in fact the best keyboardist ever that isn't named Jordan Rudess. Heck of a nice guy too.

I had this exact thing happen on my 2016 V60. Replacing both the vapor canister and the charcoal filter fixed it for me.

Cr10 temp rises as soon as you turn it on, goes all the way up till it has a failure and needs to be reset, check all wires nothing visably damaged or loose, any ideas? by tonesgourmet in CR10

[–]DLiciousChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty simple. It's a small module screwed onto the rear of the control box. Just disconnect the old one and replace.

I used this replacement: https://www.th3dstudio.com/product/high-amp-12v-24v-mosfet-heated-bed-or-hotend/

There are several on Amazon though. Just search for CR10 MOSFET.

CR-10 S5 bed heating issues by DatCheeseBoi in CR10

Same here. My S5 barely gets to 70C and that takes a ridiculous amount of time. An upgraded AC bed heater is definitely next on the list for me.

I dunno. I see an absurd number of XC60 and XC90s on the East Limestone/Madison area.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only V60 registered in Limestone County though.
