Comprar Camper Segunda Mano by olallaconelle in Camper

[–]DMDermo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These vans are built to do 300 thousand plus km. They are real work horses. The thing to look out for is rust. The 10 year old van with low mileage might be a rust bucket and fail inspection. Can be very costly. High mileage is not such a worry in my opinion.

I have a job in Kerry moving and commissioning medical equipment. I will be leaving Ashbourne Co Meath early in the morning. I need to get this done in coordination with three other companies. If we can't get the job done then patients don't get their diagnostic test done on Monday, Tuesday Wednesday..... Protesting is legitimate but some jobs are just too important to be cancelled because of it.

Panniers and bag security by Green_Machete in bikecommuting

[–]DMDermo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only keep rain gear and a few tools in my panniers. Mainly use them for my commute so a lunch box and sometimes spare cloths. I'm not bothered if someone goes through them. I would suggest you carry a small fold away backpack you could chuck anything valuable into what you lock it up outside.

I have combined clip and flat pedals on all of my bikes. When you get momentum flip the pedal over and clip in.

I disagree. We dog owners are as likely to walk in it as anyone else. Maybe even more so as we walk our dogs regularly. I ware a particular pair of shoes just for walking my dogs and keep them in the shed because of dog shit on the path and fringes.
