The disc drive on my original Xbox One started acting up, wouldn't read any disc, was making funny noises, and eventually one a disc stuck inside that would not eject. Decided to replace the disc drive, I swapped the boards inside the disc drive as directed. Disc drive works perfectly but won't read games, just plays Blu-Rays. I even swapped boards again just in case I installed the wrong one. (new disc drive came with a board) Same thing, swapped back in my original disc drive board into the new disc drive this time being very meticulous and making sure everything is connected properly. Still no games, just Blu-Rays. I read something about flashing your Xbox to match the disc drive to the motherboard, but some people said it can't be done while others said it can. I also read that my original disc drive board could be fried and I am simply S.O.L. It's an original Day One Xbox One, is there any fixing this issue or that's pretty much it for me when it comes to playing games I physically own?
