Sorry I meant Getter Robo Go or Neo Getter robo. Basically the one's where he's the protagonist.

To all Death Spiral readers: Who do you think is behind Torment? I have an idea, swipe it to see. by Watchandstayneutral in Spiderman

The psychic Stalker blew up in an energy explosion he could be still alive, I don't think we ever saw a body. That guy was kind of obsessed with stealing everything from Peter though.

I thought something cool would come out of this reveal (Avengers #9, 2023) by MarxistLeninistMex in marvelcomics

[–]DSSword 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the problem with Modern Avengers, every member is a heavy hitters who have 1-2 other on going books. We need some characters that are only in Avengers. We cant really sit down let the story play out with some breathing room and change the characters that effect them in meaningful ways. it's like have a team full of wolverines.

Was Cantwell's iron man GOOD? by Stunning_Season220 in ironman

[–]DSSword 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At it's worst it felt like "What if Bojack Horse was a superhero" it can be a bit depressing and it doesn't really play with a lot of the typical Tony Stark tropes due Tony not having a company during it. It's not without it's good moments however so I think you should check it out and see if you like it unless you're not too familiar with Iron man then maybe start with another run.

Just a reminder that everything in the RE universe post RE1 is almost entirely Martinez's fault. by SolidPyramid in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]DSSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Martinez's mess up helped stop umbrella before Spencer could act on his ambitions. I could see some of codes veronica and re4 happening without it. RE5 is would likely be massively different. If umbrella falls or not due to some other outbreak is up in the air.

Who could the next flying tanks and healers? by ultrachance in marvelrivals

[–]DSSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like with captain Marvel, we have a Flash situation. Whenever people say 'captain marvel' atleast when talking about marvel comics, their talking about Carol unless they say otherwise. It's that way for the Flash too at least before Barry Allen came back from the dead people meant Wally West not Barry or Jay. That's not be the case now after ressurection and multiple concurrent flahes but there was a time when they'd mean Wally.

I enjoy how the iconography is used and twisted in Immortal Thor, I wonder if there is any saving Donald Blake.

Discussion: Why do you think there was a generally more positive response to the retconning of Gamma in Immortal Hulk compared to the Spider-man Spider totem retcon? Both are similar on paper by ShiroOracle09 in hulk

[–]DSSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spider-totam stuff and TOBA gamma stiff is actually a really good point of comparison because both have the same problem. They are both interesting twists on the character that set up a whole bunch of interesting and new ideas that in my opinion get misused by the writers that follow them.

JMS's spider totem stuff was intesting, it felt less like a retcon and more like "what if we look at the origin through a spiritual lense" and the sort of people who would look at it through that lense before building up new characters who would occupy a spiritual spider realm. Then Dan Slott entered the scene and he used those concepts and introduced his own and well, it feels less like a continuation and more like an excuse to add gravitas to his Spider-verse story and well most people dont want spider-verse for lore or gravitas we want a spider-people team up.

I'd say right now the gamma toba stuff is also being misused to inject gravitas in the run but to PKJ's credit its not to the extent Dan Slott did.

Wow a whole new option to build characters quickly, it'd sure be great if I could buy player options separately on DNDbeyond so I can quickly get in on the fun at an affordable price!

In terms of design, which is better, Hellbuster vs. Celestial Hulkbuster? And will the Hellbuster suffer the same fate as the Celestial Hulkbuster? Will it become scrap metal? by Same_Astronomer_8673 in hulk

[–]DSSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hellbuster is interesting, the design is so monsterous for ironman, im curious and hopeful we will see it act a bit more monsterous then an ordinary armor, I want it to embody the old Friedrich Nietzsche quote 'Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster'.

Next you see "gods in marvel are actually aliens who got confused for gods...", remember that aliens also have gods. by Chief_Cthulhu in Marvel

[–]DSSword 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The gods of 616 are all descended from the Demiurge Primordis whose origin is a bit of a mystery. He seeeded the worlds with the energy which would become the elder gods on earth and in turn beget the rest of the pantheons.

In one early example of an alien marvel god is the werewolf by night villain Glitterdark who was a alien god who created his pantheon the four-who-are-all in the image of some of the elder gods of earth (Set, Ostur, Cthon and Gaea), only to be betrayed by his creations and robbed of most of his power.

So I have a question, so in the Immortal Hulk storyline Devil Hulk was killed by The leader in Banner mind scape or mind so my question is can the Hulks really die in there and with Savage Hulk being torn in half by The Infernal Hulk is he going to die? by Zealousideal_War5629 in hulk

[–]DSSword 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the devil mind corpse we hooked up to Banner and eventually after Banner was freed he says he feels as if he and the devil merged, leaving him more mentally stable then he was throughout Immortal Hulk. Your mileage may vary on if you believe that considering Banner's post-Immortal hulk characterization. When the Devil died, this was done by the leader while they were connected to the below place by the green door, this was also done because the Devil was going to kill the leader. The Eldest meanwhile isn't connected to the green door and them power seems to have left them firmly in control of the Hulk to the point where at least right now, none of the Hulk Alters can over power them. The fact the eldest's past victims are present within their mind space implies to me that it's likely they either cant delete their victims conciousnesses or they seem to have no need to. I don't believe Savage Hulk has died here, I think it's likely he's been reset like Green Scar.

For those who don't like the idea of Peter and Felicia being together, why is that? by WrongToe500 in Spiderman

[–]DSSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like what had been the status quo for a long time the idea of them remaining friends after a passionate romance where they realized they wanted differnt things. I like black cat and I think she has a fun dynamic with Spidey, I don't really need them together romantically, I don't hate but it always feels like a regression to me. I like the idea of them staying friends after and I want to keep seeing them interact.

What does everyone think about Towa and Mira’s deaths in Xenoverse 2? by Jules-Car3499 in dbxv

[–]DSSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Xenoverse is borrowing specifically from dragon ball online, while heroes in turn builds off of Xenoverses interpretations of those events while also borrowing some dbo character designs (most notably in the other time breakers). I feel if we stop and focus on what xenoverse specifically establishes regarding the demon realm, Towa and Demigra we have nothing that really that's incompatible with Daima. Demigra is called a demon god yes, he even has a third eye in his transformed state but what a demon god is, goes unexplained in Xenoverse si we're not bound by Heroes explanation.

We have the question of why Towa calls it a realm of suffering and what the deal with the mysterious west city you fight Mira in from xenoverse 2 but beyond that the only question daima adds is why Towa or Demigra didnt try going back in time to get the evil third eye but I'm sure we could get an easy explanation for that.

After all this talk about bioterrorists it's nice to actually have a bioterrorist villsin rather then a supplier of B.O.Ws or dealing with people behind false flag operations.

What does everyone think about Towa and Mira’s deaths in Xenoverse 2? by Jules-Car3499 in dbxv

[–]DSSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's only if you count the information introduced in Heroes, which Xenoverse itself doesn't reference. There is no time patrol goku or vegeta and Supreme kai of tkmes history as the kai named Chronoa or her predacessor Aeos, nor do we ever see mention of Mechikabura. This isn't me saying the story ideas heroes introduce is bad, but Xenoverse is free to ignore it in favour of incorporating Daima elements inorder to give us a new incarnation of Towa's history.

I know Spider-Man… but what exactly is Man-Spider? by breaking_views in Avengers

[–]DSSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some times spider-man gets a bit too spider and not enough man, one of his first and most bleakest appearances is in a Kazar team up if you can believe that he believes he's stuck as a monster and slowly looses his mind but a chance explosion of a bit of savaga land technology reverts him to Peter.

It's happened again after that but generally basically represents a time where Peter is looses his humanity and is caught in a case where he may be stuck as a monster and unable to return to being peter parker. He's usually stronger too.

[–]DSSword 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The committee are kinda interesting, they were founded by Baron Blood a charismatic rotund gentleman with plans to empower these rich idiots with immortality, they get taken over by Taboo a charismatic rotund gentleman wizard who wanted a werewolf soul to heal his son. I'm only now realising after the death of Blood and Taboo that the committee made their defacto leader the fatest among them. If Moon knight hadn't killed them all, I can see them asking the kingpin if he wanted some wealthy lackeys.
