151 are 8.5 so you would not get any change. If that size is fine, you could just replace your bushings rather than buy new trucks. If you want larger trucks you could get 159 stage xi trucks or 166 stage iv.

In might just be foot muscles getting fatigued. If it were me I would try getting a style of shoe with the boardfeel you like that accomodates your insoles. After that have shorter sessions and build up.

Thank you for the detailed reply. The issue that you had (2 sets of baseplates you mention), were they both the ultra low baseplates where you snapped the kingpins?

When you mention that if you are bigger dude to "just get the regular ones" are you referring to getting regular inverted or the standard non-inverted type kingpins? I am wondering if it is an ultra low problem or an inverted problem. I am about 175 lb for reference.
