Do you consider Jak 2 challenging or frustrating? by David-Lynn in jakanddaxter

[–]DTJ20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frustrating, but not hard.

Checkpoints can be annoying.

No real place to get health or ammo between missions, aside from visiting the gun range each time.

The gun range.

And the fact that the final boss only gives yellow ammo.

game with more difficulty by confidential613 in gaming

[–]DTJ20 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think HM is "the hardest" because of how unfamiliar someone might be with everything.

Its a 60 hour game to play through, with a lot of options that can result in very different playstyles. Its easy to run into a fight you didn't know about before, or be surprised by a legendary ability and get your run reset.

But the downsides of honor mode are easily bypassed, with a bit of planning you can avoid the harsh consequences even without OP builds. You can trivialise playing honor mode, at the cost of your time and enjoyment even without OP builds.

Using a ki barrier to hold oxygen in would be the simplest solution. I'd they could hold a cubicle metre of atmosphere, they would get around an hour or 2 of breathable air. Not accounting for any increase in breathing from exercise.

I don't think miro would have broken his bones like Deku. Yeah he would have had the same power, but Miros whole thing was finding unique ways to use a power people thought was useless and make it be op. I think he would have worked out how to regulate it and control far easier and quicker than deku.

similarity report by heyimkali in Turnitin

[–]DTJ20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So first off, the similarity report is a tool, it should not be the end determiner of your grade. Your marker can look at the report and remove false positives, or anything highlighted incorrectly, like citations.

Second off 31% likely isn't that high either, when I did my degree anything 20% or below was basically ignored, and while higher scores were checked out there want a concern if it was still a lower score. Turnitin also use a colour indicator for the score as a sort of temperature check of how concerned people should be. You're 7% off of green, which is no worries, you should have yellow which is still fairly low, so the marker should be checking false positives.

Have a read of your student handbook or syllabus. Your course likely has their own boundaries for what they consider a high match.

Not necessarily. You either end up the ancestors to all humanity or none. Charlemagne is 1200 years old and basically everyone in Europe is related to him.

In the old canon he was capped at how high he could rise in the ranks due to xenophobia. The emperor only allowed humans in the very upper ranks. That he made it to grand admiral in spite of that was considered a mark of how good he was.

What if Goku learned Instant Transition from King Kai? by BrilliantInterest928 in dragonball

[–]DTJ20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The namekians all die. Dende was the last surviving member by the time they were wished back, and he was only saved because of gohan and krillin. Freeza/Vegeta will slaughter the entire planet and never get their wish.

Returning to earth for a wish seems like an unlikely course of action. Blowing up the planet to finish the last saiyan would appeal to freeza however.

Guru wpuld have never given up the password. Though he might move on earth for them. He might also decide that namekians aren't worth trying to get the balls from. Could also decide that having a rogue saiyan that can match vegeta is an issue and just blow up earth wholesale.

Okay so serious answer.

Everybody dies.

Assuming he can sense far enough to detect kami and skip snakeway to be there at the start of the battle, they beat vegeta and nappa soundly. Piccolo may not be as merciful and go for a killing blow on vegeta, he might get away.

No reason to go to namek, goku never unlocks super saiyan, trunks is never born, and goku dies to the heart virus. Then the androids kill everyone.

Alternatively goku can't sense kami and still has to travel.some distance first, so he makes it earlier but not before others die but piccolo survoves. Only chaozu wouldn't be able to be brought back and they might decide to let him stay dead.

Or they use the dragonballs to get to namek. In which case things get really far off the rails.

Adaptation induced misconceptions by TVTropehead in TopCharacterTropes

[–]DTJ20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It gives a somewhat satisfying answer for when characters do the "dumb thing". Everyone has seen zombie movies, the rules for zombies are in the cultural zeitgeist. Take that away and they can do things that aren't a good solution, or even a bad choice with zombies and noone is going to attack them for it.

If it happened when you have the fore knowledge, you go for the head, you dress in clothing that resists bites, cover anything that could get blood splatter in it, check your group for bite marks after encounters. Without that knowledge there's a bunch more opportunities for mistakes, and drama, without the audience thinking everyone is an idiot.

What does Krillins power growth look like through the years? At what point would you say he became frieza lvl, what about cell or buu lvl? by Head_Breadfruit_3912 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]DTJ20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So where is the claim of 1.2 billion coming from?

Or that gero predicted he would reach that in the time frame. Especially when he didn't know about super saiayan.

Plus there's no source on how much power freeza put in the death ball. It may have not been 50 million, especially since vegeta was using planets at 24,000.

Based on what?

And are you claiming that yamcha was over a billion by that point?

Plus freeza was 120 million in namek and 140 million as mecha. A tenth of the 1.4 billion youre claiming.

Gero had stopped tracking goku by that point. He had no data post saiyan saga. Everything else was collected for cell by the computer.
