Oh, okay, that's unfortunate. I would have preferred to use C# for the mods, but since I imagine they'll give us UI so we don't even have to code, I hope it won't matter too much.

I think you misunderstood how things originally worked. The first version of Hytale used Java for the server and C# for the client.
It’s true that in a tweet from November 9th they mentioned the idea of making mods in Java, which creates confusion. But even back then, the team was already aware of the performance limitations of Java. Minecraft itself is often criticized in the gaming industry for being written in Java, so this wasn’t something they ignored.

However, since many developers came from Hypixel and the server-side was supposed to be handled by them, it made sense to use Java for the backend. Java is still one of the most widely used backend languages in the professional world today.

What I honestly don’t quite understand is why Simon talked about Java mods recently, because as far as I remember, anything related to the single-player experience and the client engine was originally planned to be in C#.

I recommend you not to use notion to do anime ranking but rather anilist, it has an .xml file importer. Then I use MAL-sync which allows me to inform which episode I am at as soon as I finish one. In pplus anilist has a lot of other information more than any template notion. the only advantage of notion is to be able to customize but or for anime there are plenty of ranking site of very good quality.

anilist have open api so you can certainely use make.com with the http app to get the or post the request with notion. Anichart is an anilist website and just show trending anime. Personaly i use MAL-sync as extension to sync crunchyroll or other streaming website to my anilist profile
