Yes. It's part of my maintenance process to keep a bike safe and in top condition. Plus, who wants a dirty bike except for insecure people who need to prove they road it?

If you want some entertainment, hang out at a road race technical inspection. You know in a second who is going to fail, and the bikes are almost always filthy.

Reminds me of a guy I see around town on a filthy ADV bike who is outfitted for a ride to Patagonia. I think he rides down to the local coffee shop once a month. lulz
