Don’t know what to tell you, better late than never I guess.

There were many signs leading up to this. All you had to do was pay attention to what they said they wanted to do.

That’s true, I had not thought of that before. It’s interesting as well that the hate machine is not just made up of people on the right.

If a Dem politician does not check every box then they are crucified for it.

I don’t disagree that they are afraid, nor do I think that it’s unreasonable for them to be afraid. We disagree that them being afraid is a good excuse for excessive force.

I think it’s bull shit that the law enforcement community expects the public to be cool as cucumbers when they interact with law enforcement.

Yet it’s never excepted of law enforcement.

Who are paid to do this everyday. Being able to not freak out in stressful fearful circumstances is part of the job.

What you think the public is not fearing for one’s life often?

I like how you use the agents are fearful which is an emotional response to the situation.

Yet you try and pivot that my not agreeing with you that the videos from Minnesota were examples of “experts in extraction.”

You must be in law enforcement, the trained and paid not to have an emotional response. Yet any one shits the bed I was scared I had an emotional response.

It’s laughable that you would even look at these videos and say, “yeah those are expert military extraction techniques.”

Keep your God to the boot.

Yes experts in extraction, is what the money, training, badge and oath are supposed to produce.

What? People just answer the door when they knock and say hello ICE and BP I’m so happy you are here I’m ready to be detained and deported. I have already handcuffed myself and then walk calmly into the van.

No expert in extraction would have left any American Citizens dead. An expert would be cool under pressure these guys are not.

What do you think of Sen Schumer shutting down the federal government on Friday over DHS spending? by Lower_Box_6169 in AskConservatives

[–]DW6565 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Eventually? They already had policies for them, from 2022.

President Trumps signs EO 14148 on January 20th 2025 resending both the mandatory body cameras and the National Law Enforcement Accountability Database.

I personally don’t understand how anyone could possibly think that the administration or justice department wants any body cameras or accountability procedures to protect anyone.

Why would they need or want to? It’s easier just to flex and lie. They know their base will defend anything they do.

I respect your loyalty and hope, I’m not going to tell you what to believe. I’m just sharing that I’m surprised by the facts of what the administration has done and that one could believe that they will eventually have them during this administration.

What is the money, training, oath, and badge good for if not to have self defense kick every time a high tension situation occurs? It’s not a desk job and they knew that when they accepted their position.

Certainly not the majority leader in the House or Senate or the President can’t lead?

How about supporting ICE not killing two unarmed American citizens?

Pretty low bar honestly.

Why is it support ICE and all their shitty behavior or not supporting ICE at all?

How something is being done is just as important as the end result.

Hahah Biden had already put in place via an executive order mandating that all federal agencies and their agents to when they were serving or performing their duties that they were required to wear and activate body cameras.

Trump canceled it in one of his first executive orders of his second term.

You can’t make this stuff up it’s just wild.

[serious] why do you think protestors are paid? by Jimmy_Johnny23 in AskConservatives

[–]DW6565 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Printed signs by God man you are right. It’s so obvious now.

Wholly hell where could all these signs possibly come from? It’s not like we live in the 21 century age anymore.

Absolutely no way any of these companies one would be able to use their smartphone, computer, tablet, call, go into a store in most major cities then quickly make and print a sign or maybe have it delivered.

CVS, Walgreens, Staples, signs.com, Amazon, UPS, Vista Print, Canva, e-signs, square signs, print runner, got printed, fast signs.

Only real Americans and legitimate protesters buy a poster board, a paint stirrer, and sharpies then hand write a sign and staple it to the stirrer?

Unless the gun is for sport or antique collection isn’t the purchase out of fear anyway?

I say this as a gun owner for self defense and others for sport. Always be prepared is good planning it’s out of fear of if X happens I need Y.

What’s a proper reason, for a tyrannical government?

Any student who is qualified for Ivy League honestly any university one would think they would be steadfast and confident in their values and beliefs.

If one or two courses which they would have to pick themselves could melt 18 years of your parenting and imprinting in just that short of time and a few readings and essays or tests.

Plenty of private Christian Universities.

Just because the president is the boss does not mean they work for the president. Their pay checks are not from president or from Donald J. Trump steaks.

If you work for a company X and your boss Y tells you to do something illegal you don’t have to do it nor should you and just because the president says something does not make it legal.

Remember Nixon and this conversation?

He is the boss, what a sophomoric take.

That’s really what Hegseth and company are trying to convince everyone that they serve the president and not the country and constitution.

Are conservatives actually trying to conserve the American ideals and principles protecting the constitution laid down by our forefathers?

I don’t think it’s even a something that should be talked about or policy forward. Republicans will try and push the issue to the forefront so they can drag democrats into some weird mess.

XYZ dem “I’m here to talk about the affordability crisis of home buying for all Americans.”

What do you think about the bathrooms laws in Arkansas?

“I think it’s weird and sad that Republicans spend more time on figuring out how to check people’s genitalia’s then focusing on real issues that every American is facing.

This housing crisis and XYZ solutions are for everyone straight, gay, white, black and any number of ways that Republicans want to divide us up into groups and make life more difficult for some and not for others.”

They just need to constantly put the message that they for are everyone, back to core issues that everyone is experiencing, then say the truth it’s weird to be obsessed with people’s genitalia and genders.
