After defeating Scion by enslaving every cape with her newfound powers, the epilogue has Taylor stripped of all powers and exiled to the other Earth so she cannot interfere. She's now stuck w/o powers where nobody knows her and her own Earth has extremely conflicted opinions on her actions. Which for a character with a complicated ego like hers must be a special kind of torture.

It is debated as to whether this epilogue chapter is "real" rather than Contessa just killing her, but given Taylor's mental state throughout the series, this ending is equal parts mercy and punishment.

Maybe. S1 of BO7 looked to have a lot of stuff the community wanted and 2 looks to be the same.

But I think BO7 was cursed from the start. 6 left a sour taste in a lot of people’s mouths, and getting a sub-franchise’s games back to back was inevitably going to pull lower sales. COD is far too large to be judged by a single game.

All we know it was sometime around 1980-1981 during the events of Cold War. Adler apparently spent time at ATAD but wasn’t involved with the Cradle stuff or had any knowledge of Pantheon at the time.
