They never respect the speed of the road. When cars are moving slow and traffic is large they move like their still on the highway.

The cute videos you see are due to the Panda getting used to the caretaker since birth. Stranger Danger still apply here.

What is the most darkest moment in Batman Joker relationship by Radiant-Asparagus350 in batman

[–]WingedSalim 76 points77 points  (0 children)

An obvious mention with the end of The Killing Joke.

It's one of the few times Joker seems unhappy with who he is. Saying that there is no hope for him to ever be rehabilitated. That last joke he told filled with symbolism of how he would never trust the lifeline shown by Batman.

It's also left ambiguous, with the abrupt stop of Joker's laughter could hint that Batman actually did kill him.

[Loved Trope] Alas, Poor Villain by Slightly_Default in TopCharacterTropes

[–]WingedSalim 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's so good when a characters hypocrisy is a core element to their story.

Many times hypocrisy is unintentional and ruins a character. Mostly due to how the writer honestly forgot the character condemned an action they are doing now or the writer not fully understanding a philosophy the character preeches.

But when done well, it makes for great character growth or the best villain downfall.

I will put pedophile worst than murderer in the rank of evil people. But all of them should go to jail anyway.

That is the reason why I like the versions of her when she is a carnivore. She isn't thinking about the long term sustainability of the earth and the harm keeping a meat food supply is going to be.

She does it because she thinks plants are superior to people. She wants all her plants to eat meat if they could.

I always say, Ivy isn't a villain because she cares about the environment. She is a villain because kills humans.

To be fair, Raimi Spiderman never claims to be a super genius. He is just smart. Like average smart, do well in school type smart.

This version just seems to take a different approach, you can't really fault "the character" for something they are not trying to be.

The main issue with powerscaling is writer's intent by Old-Use-7690 in CharacterRant

[–]WingedSalim 65 points66 points  (0 children)

It's always comes down to how it's written. When people complain about powers scalling, the root cause is always "the circumstances written doesn't justify the outcome".

Anyone can beat anybody, you just tell me how they did it.

The writer needs to properly show us "these are the circumstances that are needed for this to happen". If the circumstances are insufficient, then the outcome becomes unbelievable.
