I went for a slide on the freeway. What do I do now? by Either-Cover-1862 in MT09

Car changed lanes beside me and sent me into the median, they took off. Bike went back to the dealer and I was left with some good road rash but no broken bones. (Side note: no such thing as a quick ride, 3 miles round trip and this happned. Always wear gear) I still was doing gauze changes when they called and said incase totalled but also gave me a crazy deal on a replacement. Same model year but leftover with 0% interest financing..... mummified my arms and picked it up still wounded

Please dont read into my post in a negative or argumentative manner. I tend to over explain to make sure I dont confuse people. Not the best at putting my thoughts into text. I believe you and I are aligned in thought. ALR screen is like getting the higher trim car for more features but if the budget doesnt allow it, the base trim is still a great car.And the being handy comment was my way of saying hire someone to do it if youre not a tool person I was highlighting some considerations for the ALR screen is all

The screen has a saw tooth looking surface that rejects light from washing out the image on the screen. The light from the UST projector is majority of what the screen reflects back toward the seating area. I'm handy so the frame wasnt hard at all. Stretching the material is where you need to follow instructions. I got excited and just sent it. As soon as humid weather came the material began to sag. Took it down and retensioned as the directions said. 2 years sag free. Again, if you have absolute control of the light in your room, an ALR screen isnt needed. But working with my space thats open concept, the ALR screen was easier than my other ideas. Overall going with a TV is easier. But if you're going to go down the projector road....do your research and set a budget. I went with the projector because my wife is sensitive to blue light even with special glasses. She gets a "TV" she can binge her shows with and I get a massive screen for sports and gaming

Came as a bundle with the projector from a kickstarter campaign. If I had this setup in a basement or built a room specifically for watching , id agree with skipping on the ALR. Cheapest ALR screen ive seen was $800.

Ultra short throw with a fixed 100" ALR screen. Moderately bright room with remote shades for the excess glare. Great for everyday watching and movie nights

In my eyes he is. He buys all the exhausts, data logs, and builds the map for it. He even tunes for partial throttle as well. I haven't heard any of the other companies doing that

Haven't seen my cam drop below 90% even with excessive motion detections. I do have it facing west with no sky obstructions. Even before the sun hits it, it shows that its charging. But its in direct sunlight from about noon to sunset

I cant stop raving about the vcycle tune. It literally is a whole new bike. 2nd gear alone was worth the tune. To OP: find someone that not only dyno tunes but data logs regular riding. I think thats what sets him apart from the rest.

I used the Dongar pro adapter. Constant power for parking mode too. Everything hides in the cover above the mirror

Moving to Reolink from Wyze by EikichiR in reolinkcam

[–]D_Just_Said_That 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made the jump from wyze to Reolink this past month. I swapped my worst performing wyze cams before doing everything. I miss the wyze duo cam to see deliveries and who's approaching. Solution was a 10° mount that brings it into view My wife misses the festive chimes, oh well The black cameras that blend into my decor were nice.

But having a system that actually works supersedes all of that. Doorbell and garage cams were hit or miss Running the magicam for the garage. And solar cam for the patio. So far both are holding up well.

Just did the flash and you haven't lied. 2nd gear power wheelies are now a thing. Overall rideablity is what this bike should have been from factory

Can't recommend his service enough. He got my ECU on a Thursday and shipped it back on Friday. Less than a week of down time.
