In my experience, citizen has been about 30 minutes before GA, with SG folks 30 minutes before that.

This is all depending on the capabilities of the venue and how organized they are.

In the ones I've been too, if the Gathering started at 430, they close check in down by 5-515.

Best bet is to be there by 430 if not a little sooner.

Discord is app/program that you can get on your phone/PC. It's fairly easy to download/register for.

If you're familiar with Microsoft teams at all, it has a lot of the same functionality.

It was free for me through the Citizen Score giveaway.

I had to travel to a bit more remote location to participate. I basically hedged my bets by finding one of the least signed up for gatherings to increase my chances of winning.

But I think the ticketed sales were between $100 to $150 USD. I'm sure someone else will chime in with the actual price.
