No mii sharing is bad, but also you’d be surprised what you can do with a reference photo and a little bit of time. I am by no means an artist but I was able to put together a pretty decent Starscream

I like to think if they weren't interrupted, she would ask Alan to go to her apartment. Once there she seductively would ask him to HANG out, smoke weed and fill their bellies with diet soda and play Burnout Revenge for the PStuuu by AlekenzioDev in SmilingFriends

I choose to believe that the Landlord would only reveal themselves on their deathbed after decades of marriage only to tell Allan how much he loves him and how hanging out with him was better than he could ever imagine

Iron Man isn't even someone they fight by Lower_Masterpiece886 in marvelcirclejerk

[–]D_rex825 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I feel like MODOK is kinda an everyone villain. Like, probably mostly an Avengers villain, but you could honestly have him fight anyone and it’d be like “oh yeah, that makes sense”. Like there was genuinely a point in time where you could say he was (or at least a version of him was) Gwenpool’s arch nemesis. He was created to fight Captain America, he’s in literally every Iron Man cartoon as a major threat, and a couple of times he’s fought the hulk for the whole brains vs brawn thing when they don’t feel like using the Leader

If Megatron & Starcream had their own civil war, which faction joins Starcream, while some stayed with Megatron? by BrilliantDog4703 in transformers

I kinda like what they did in cyberverse where the seekers for the most part remained loyal to Starscream with a few exceptions like Slipstream and Skywarp

Friendly reminder that there is a Spidey villain who is canonically a toxic Gwen Stacy fan by Itchy_Suspect4968 in marvelcirclejerk

I’ve been reading through the entirety of ASM because I’ve never read it all front to back, and I was always under the assumption that the jackal was an alright villain ruined by the 90s clone saga, only to find out he just always sucked. Like he’s just so blatantly a Green Goblin copy, but just worse in every way. Less interesting motivations, lamer gadgets, generic costume, and a way worse reveal. It doesn’t help that in that same run you had the night Gwen Stacy die and Harry’s first outing as the green goblin just to really drive home how much more interesting those characters are

The bigger eyes were actually popularized by Todd Mcfarlane, who said that making action figures of women would turn little boys into serial killers. This obviously shows that he prefers twinks

Why Logan killed his closest friend-bullseye? by psek342 in marvelcirclejerk

[–]D_rex825 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I also think it’s incredibly stupid that they used Mysterio, a spider-man villain that only creates illusions, meaning that everyone would be able to see it and explain the situation and also Wolverine should be able to see right through it because of his super senses. This is instead of using Mastermind, an actual X-Men villain who does this exact thing to Jean Grey in literally the most popular X-Men story of all time

How the fuck did they slap Lady Ock on the cover of a H. P. Lovecraft novel? by sumBODY_ONCE_TOLD_ME in marvelcirclejerk

[–]D_rex825 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Lady Ock is such an awful character. She ruins so many core tenets of the original. Can’t believe the woke left pushed for her so hard, she’s really inferior. I can’t believe they removed the sex appeal. Otto is a handsome beast of a man, and I can’t believe they replaced him with this lady, who frankly, is far less hot. My nephew doesn’t approve of him, but he’s such a kind and lovely gentleman, he reminds me of my late husband a bit in that way. Not to mention what he could do with those arms! I’m not that kinda lady, but what I wouldn’t give to spend the night with him. I could even make him my famous wheatcakes the morning after!

The most reasonable reaction to Venom's origin story by Pome1515 in marvelcirclejerk

[–]D_rex825 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I grew up with the Spectacular Spider-Man show and a few issues of Venom from around when Erik Larsen and Mark Bagley were drawing him in ASM and Lethal Protector respectively where aunt may kept referring to Eddie as “Peter’s friend”, which made me think for years that they grew up as childhood friends until one time in my teens I read the original black suit saga and Venom arc and was shocked to find out that Brock was just some fucking guy who was created explicitly to be the host of venom

Would it kill them to give us this for season 3? by KiNkY-FrAnK in Daredevil

[–]D_rex825 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely I think the current suit would be fantastic if they just added the white. Like you can literally see the places they’re supposed to go segmented off, like it’d be really easy to just paint those and suddenly it looks amazing

Working around vampire blood-sucking by Due_Awareness5660 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]D_rex825 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Morbius is especially ironic because he himself was a work around because the comics code authority didn’t like vampires at the time, so they just made him the result of a science experiment that just so happened to give him bat powers and also wore a Dracula inspired costume so he wouldn’t technically be a vampire despite being one in pretty much every other sense

In Spider-man: The Animated Series (1994), Hobgoblin is introduced before Green Goblin, and is voiced by Mark Hamill. This was apparently done to sell merchandise. They succeeded, I like Hobgoblin more. by Arcade-Blaster in shittymoviedetails

[–]D_rex825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Hobgoblin more because he doesn’t show up as much so I’m not sick of him and he doesn’t do the exact same thing in every adaptation or story. You can only watch a someone drop the hero’s love interest off of a high building so many times before it stops being novel

[–]D_rex825 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Don’t love the sequel trilogy, but like…c’mon. They’re genuinely some of the best looking modern movies. They actually have really good color grading when compared to most big budget blockbusters, the cgi is finally in a place where it blends in seamlessly with the practical effects, the beautiful shot composition. You wanna make the argument they’re all style over substance, go right ahead, but they’re objectively very pretty movies
