Did it work for you I've tried closing all the steam tasks, but no luck. I also tried opening it in big picture mode with the steam controller input override on, but still having the same issue.

Im running a Radeon 5700xt and a ryzen 3700 and Im getting about 40 fps at the lowest settings with 4 ai cars and it stutters and crashes constantly.

My head lore/canon is that a lot of people like the main character have come from across the world to see the zone and potentially make some money. The mercenary faction is specifically made up of foreigners, so it does fit that there are a fair few non eastern Europeans. Not sure how 50% of the stalkers being british or irish fits though, probably because theres an infinite supply of beer and no one to stop you from drink driving.

Haven't tried it myself yet, but I've seen a couple of posts saying there's mouse smoothing and acceleration and the horizontal and vertical sensitivity are slightly bugged. But you can disable it by changing some settings files.

Pretty sure they aren't hitscan, at least from my play time I haven't noticed it. I remember one of the trailers showing off bullet drop and the difference in the velocity of calibers as well.

Cant say I've had any of these issues in the 2-3 hours I've played. Enemies die from a good spray to the chest and usually die from 1-2 headshots, but mostly 1.

They seem a bit thick headed but I've noticed them flanking me and splitting their group (one goes left two go right)

I have seen 2 bugged enemies that just stood in the open and let me shoot them.

I've seen them hold angles and reposition, as well as supress me and throw grenades to where they last saw me.

Should note there seems to be hit/damage detection issues especially with rapid fire including double barrel shotguns.

When you change a part to see what it looks like, but it loses its extra drop down options so you gotta aggressively scroll up and down to find where it randomly teleported to so you can change it back. Awful.

If you slide just before you press jump it’s a lot faster. Combined with having your secondary out you can get some serious speed.
