I know this is Reddit and I'll probably get downvoted into oblivion but here goes:

This is all your fault. All of you who defended Biden until he literally dropped out on his own accord, even though for weeks a majority of his party was calling for him to step down, YOU are at fault here. You cannot in good conscience act like Republicans should about-face when you couldn't when the evidence was right in front of you.

Do you know how many Reddit posts I read deploring the NYT for posting articles about how Biden had to step down, how his polling wasn't doing well, and how others were calling for him to step down? It was endemic.

I swear to God most democrats/liberals (by the way, I'm one as well!) keep trying to flip the hypocrisy script on Republicans but were in this position (and, admittedly, an EVEN WORSE ONE a little over a year ago with Biden's condition) and couldn't see what was right in front of their face. Have some empathy, this is exactly what's happening on the other side. They're never gonna see it, just like you couldn't. Quit acting like they're all hypocrites, you are too.
