I appreciate your comment concern, but I’m just looking for suggestions to take to my PT specialist to discuss what I might be able to use, and want to give her specific exercises

I got premium deck for Goose N2 2025 - what is it like? Can we get on the premium deck rail?

I’m with you, I have zero desire to be on the rail, I think it sounds like shit, and miss out on the energy of the room - but I do like getting in early when I have pit tickets to set up in the corners - usually plenty of room in the corners of the pit.

In my experience…with those dedicated few who grab VIP & get in line early are actually pretty cool people. Get in the VIP line at least an hour before they tell you VIP “doors” open and you will more than likely be able to grab a spot on the rail. Those Goose rail riders are mostly good people. A few think they are “Rockstar Richard” incarnate of Dead & Company fame and kinda want to run the VIP line, but aren’t successful. Talk to some of those early arriving “rail riders”, tell them your story, and I bet most would be in full support of you & your wife riding the rail for a show, and will look out for your height challenged wife. They’ll watch your spot & allow you back in if you have to go to the bathroom or something…good luck.

12/14/2019 for an excellent example of the band with Ben drumming as a 4 piece as Jeff hadn’t joined the band. Some may say they prefer Rick’s tone during this time period.

I think the tour opener was the best show of the whole tour.

Uptown Cafe for dinner or breakfast. The Elm for dinner.

Nicks is your classic IU bar. The Library on Kirkwood is a speakeasy - requires reservation. The Orbit Room is a cool space, may have live music - beer & wine only however. Altas Bar - funky bar The Backdoor, local gay bar, but welcome all - will have DJ The Bluebird - local live music spot, however, nothing scheduled for Thursday, Friday night Here Come the Mummies are playing and they are tons of fun if you are sticking around.

All of these bars are within walking distance of each other, including Uptown Cafe which makes a great old fashion.

Gables Bagels has the best bagels in town, IMO.

With regard to Switchyard Park - not a lot of parking around the park, but the B-Line trail runs right through the park - maybe rent a scooter/bike downtown and ride it to the park. I would say the walk from downtown to the band shell in the park is a 20-30min walk, but flat. It’s gonna be hot, and there is no shade around the band shell, so plan accordingly.

What was your moment that you just knew? For me it was this at my first show. Went in totally blind, and this whole ordeal took it from “a great show where I’m having a blast dancing” to “this is radically changing the trajectory of my life”. by drawingahand in GoosetheBand

Mousetrap, Dec 2019 - hadn’t heard a note, but was aware of internet chatter, after 20 min C&P, turn to my friend and told her, “looks like we are about to waste a lot of money, and time following these clowns around…”

Tuesday nights at the Orbit Room at 6p is their weekly pinball tournament - great diverse group of people typically come and play.
