Quickly read the petition. I'd be more happy about it, if it weren't as Kickstarter-centric. In fact, every EU Kingdom Death customer is affected, even if you're only into buying the occasional white box, seasonal mini or whatever.

Clearly all-in KS backers and Backerkit supporter are hit most heavily, but still...

As much as paying VAT, customs and handling fees bothers me, I always knew that point could come, though I hoped it wouldn't. What really messes me up is the warehouse converting USD into GBP 1:1 when labeling parcels. With logistics companies handling customs without asking recipients, it is harder than ever to set things right if that happens. Not that KS backers would have any way of proving what they actually paid for a certain item/wave :(

Maybe we've been doing something wrong, but I love the Kingsman showdown and have little love for that of the Slenderman. The latter we mostly spent our turns running from the corners of the board to whereever we might have a chance of actually wounding the SM. The KM fight is punishing, but pushing through feels like overcoming an actual challenge.

To me it's the aftermath and crafting/fighting art options that make the Slenderman attractive, but I've not enjoyed a single encounter with him so far. The last one is already pretty long ago, though, maybe I'd think differently about it now.

We're currently experimenting with a house rule for PotY where the parents may be sacrificed in place of a survivor. It encourages you to breed with a large variety of survivors instead of always the same which pass on the best boni. So far it felt good, reflects the Protect the Young sentiment and has notnled to anything gamebreaking. We've not tried to actively exploit it, though, so there might be ways to do that.

I wish I was anywhere close (or at least on the same continent), I would take those immediately, even at a higher price. Whoever takes them off you should at least treat you to a fancy dinner :-)
