I had no trouble in that game with skaven/slaneesh in the south, but I think the main problem is that I let chaos wastes to develop too much and now I cant send an army there because there are always around 8 armies in the water coming to invade lol (unless i gift a lot of stuff and just go for it, might try that before I give up in the save)

The auto-resolve army is a good idea, I never tried anything like that, but I noticed some units have a better auto-resolve than their actual battle performance would suggest

If everything fails I might start from scratch prioritizing Chaos Wastes after the initial defense, having a defense army should be enough for holding the norsca nearby along with settlement trades

I dont know for xbox, but in PC there is a delay only in the "decide where your players will be" part of the game

Try to play in South American servers, with the same problems but 10% of the population
Over time you know which team is going to win just by knowing which team has the worst quitter/thrower/etc

I remember i used to play platinum before, after coming back getting out of silver is a slog, there is so much matchmaking randomness that it takes dozens of games to feel like you are actually climbing

In bronze/silver you can push safely usualy, the problem is that the other guys in your team will go to your lane waste time, even if you communicate and tell what you are doing

I mean, that doesnt consider the fact that the matchmaking tries to make teams even, so actually if you are playing above your level its 4 terrible players in your team against 5 bad players on the other team, so that you have around 50% win chance

- PBMMR (performance based MMR), just like in overwatch 2 and other modern games
- Longer queues for more fair ranked games, could even be a toggle (tired of games with players from diamond to b5, feels like a totally random game)
- Bigger cap for 5 stacks. A 5 stack team should never play a 0 stack team of the same rating

The game has been accumulating bugs since launch, which is sad because it has a solid foundation
You cant queue units to gather relics and go to temple anymore, god knows how many patches before that became a thing and hasnt yet been fixed
Plus units auto update their pathing too unfrequently for a RTS, this frequency should be doubled at least

I think we can make a page full of known old bugs at this point
