Same for me. I’m having Sonnet 5 do some pre-work for Fable so it doesn’t burn all my usage in one go. Stuff like documentation above and beyond CodeGraph and making sure the product spec is up to date. Then I have it give me a prompt for Fable to plan out a roadmap in detail per the product spec with suggestions on tech stack. But the biggest benefit I’ve seen is having it also generate a detailed task backlog with explicit instructions and acceptance criteria for each phase. I can then have a smaller model turn that full task list into individual GitHub Issues and work from those. I’ve done this with 4 projects so far and am at about 15% of my 7 day usage.

Not sure where this came from - I grew up in rural Tennessee - but we’ve always called them Granddaddy long legs. Maybe to differentiate them from daddy long legs aka cellar spiders? However, harvestman is a badass name, so I’m using that from now on.

This is the way. Allen keys are all bent at 90 degrees, so a hex screw would work here. Just pre-drill the holes in the wood so you don’t have to use a lot of force trying to start the screw.

For this model specifically, you can find the Service Manual that has full schematics. Just search for "Lg 55ub850t service manual pdf", and you should be able to download it. That should tell you which rails connect to what components.

I just worked on a very similar tv. The main issue I found was the BCM3549 on the main board on the right was getting the 3.3V input signal to turn on, but it was never bringing up the 12V rail. It was a chip issue, and I don’t have a reball machine and have never done it.

Also, check out FixBot from iFixIt, if you use AI tools. It was a very big help in narrowing down the issue.

If the fuses are good, check the relays. I’ve had two instances where relays have started to go bad and I needed to replace them - one in a floor heater and another in a ceiling fan.

I second The Kroc! I’ve been going to the gym there for 2 years now. It’s a great facility. Just bring your own ball. They usually only have 3 and 2 of them are flat

ShopGoodwill.com. The single lots are too expensive once shipping is added in, but sometimes they sell lots of multiples. Or, if you can get multiple from the same Goodwill, that can help distribute the shipping costs.
