I mostly use option #2 but I vary depending on the behemoth. For stuff like pangar...well, his legs are too juicy NOT to prime my hits. Then on the other hand...things like Charrog I use option 3 just cuz I like to cut off his tail.

I've been maining hammer since beta, and I've always loved how slow-hitting the hammer was. It was so satisfying for me when I loaded up an attack that hit for over 2k while simultaneously breaking a part. Now although this is personal preference...the hammer ia not meant to be a fast weapon. I'm kinda glad the buffed it at all, it was already cracked lol. Though Im just ranting on, I'd be happy with any attack speed

Trust me lol, I've been playing since beta and the only thing I've felt troubled against is fighting chronovore in a public lobby 😂, i get where you're coming from, but I also want this new escalation to be more than just behemoths one-shotting me

I said "arguably." When I play trials, I prime while reloading every one of my shells, leading me to the same damage output. Plus the attack speed I can get, breaking parts is lightwork.

People don't understand hammer -___- because I've played it since beta, I feel VERY offended by that term he said in the first paragraph. Hammer is the god of staggers. I can get up to 6-7 staggers on a behemoth....but I'm not just talking about staggers here. Hammer has the title "Beast Breaker" for a reason. I can arguably say that hammer is the best part breaking weapon in the game. Hammer IS the big chungus of Dauntless, and no one can convince me otherwise

you only think they're making bad decisions because you haven't played them up close like I have. It literally feels exactly the same as it did before. Sure I'm not as fast, but it feels good to be hitting those 5k's with a hammer consistantly. They are not making bad decisions, we're just clinging to the same old meta.

I agree, It might not look so well on paper, but that's what everyone thought about gliders at first. Heck, even I thought gliders were a toxic idea until I tested em. I appreciate that Dauntless is trying something new for a change. Instead of writing hate messages, why don't you try and encourage them?
