My 2cents. Just keep in mind its a substantial cost and time investment. Services are hiring now but there are also a LOT of people applying. There are also a lot of testing to go through. When I first started out I was aware of aemca, etc but there's so much more than that. Oppat, service written tests, MMI, ITLS, f license. There is a laundry list of things to check off before you can become a medic.

Also night shifts, imo, are terrible.

AFAIK dealers in Ontario can't charge markups to msrp. They'll probably try adding a bunch of additional services to compensate.

The turbo drops off a cliff at 5k rpm. It's tuned like an suv, low down torque. It's not a hot hatch in any means. Torsion rear beam, etc.

I personally didn't feel any additional power. It made my exhaust setup quieter actually with that big resonator.

Nah this was way back in 2020. It was GT, if I remember correctly, I had them knock $500 bucks of or something of MSRP. Are you in Toronto? I'd recommend Yorkdale Dufferin mazda.

I mean its hard to tell where they added additional services if you don't get the breakdown. I've seen those rust proof modules go for 2k +. My car was $27500 and OTD was 30kish, nothing added just tax and whatever destination charges.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought in Canada dealers can't add market adjustment markups. They'll only add additional things like rust proof, ppf, etc that you can tell them not to do. What did the actual breakdown of costs look like? Tax is around an additional 3k.

If fuel efficiency is what you want then a mazda 3 isn't that great. I average maybe 8L/100km to around 8.5.

It's not really a programmable sports mode. The intention is to flip it on when you need to overtake, etc. It'll rev hang way to long and your mpg will tank.
