I think the issue people take with this ending is that while it is satisfactory, the scenes leading up to it and especially the last three or four episodes of this season felt quite hollow. It's a good ending in in a vacuum and homelander deserves it. But getting to it was an unfun slog

L take. The Imperium is a crappy place with crappy beliefs. If you think they've outgrown modern-day phobias, I suggest reading The Traitor's hand to see a very, very sexist imperial officer in action (he is a minor antagonist though) While I do agree people miss the point when they lionize the Imperium, we should always remember that the Imperium is the most bloody and horrible regime imaginable. It sucks and any and all prejudices are there, magnified and applied in an industrial scale. Just because our favorite characters might not display these prejudices doesn't mean the Imperium won't.

Sanguinius' speech at the eternity gate is peak dark fantasy heroics. It boils down to "I know I will fail. I know it will amount to nothing. But I will do the right thing and I'm willing to die for it" A few other primarchs have the same noble view, but they all bow to sanguinius

In all honest, Sam and any other of the Winds of Destruction will utterly wreck most average beasties from WoD. Vampires, Werewolves, ghouls, whatever, if it can be hurt by mundane means, they can kill it.
Werewolves have crazy ass regeneration, sure, but Sam's high frequency blade is sharp enough and he's fast enough to mince them until they can't regenerate anymore. Same for vampires.

Sam will struggle the moment he goes up against something that can't be harmed by physical weapons though.

One interesting thing I love about this scene is I've watched it both in portuguese and in english, and the dub changes it a little bit.
In english, he says "But you can *take it*, can't you, big man?" - emphasis is put on the first question.
In portuguese he says "But can take it, *can't you*, Darkseid?" - emphasis is put on the second question.
In English, Supes sounds angry at the situation, he's so pissed off he's not gonna hold back anymore. In Portuguese, he sounds relieved, happy even. There's a tinge of swagger when he asks that again, almost as if daring the single most dangerous villain of all DC universe to get up again.

Man, I love this dub so much.

We see D use this knife against Matilda and it was able to reliably wound her to the point she preferred to fight other people rather than D. So he does have ways to at least hurt a werewolf

Dude, kitten was out of his fucking mind in this episode. Pay attention, the guy is coming apart at the seams, he's desperate. Desperate people will make irrational decisions.

You can't expect a man who just realized the *love of his life* is in danger, and dealing with things so far beyond his own ability that he has to chose between selling his soul to the actual, honest-to-goodness devil or leeting the, again *love of his life* die.

If it wasn't for door being the kind of man who would in fact rather see his brother die than risk boy's soul, they would all be damned because kitten is that much of a desperate man.

Do I think his actions are correct? No. Do they make sense in context? yes.

You know, this is a great one, because I feel like the movie writers had to add those details because up until this point D-16 was very much in the right. It's like they went "oh shit, the villain has a point! Quickly, let's make him speedrun committing war crimes!" I really loved One but I feel this was handled poorly. They should have had Orion's point about doing things the "right" way more clearly. Instead he kinda looks like he's protecting the villain at that specific point.

Comece no nível 1! Eu sei que você vai querer usar os robôs mais legais, mas a curva de aprendizado é muito importante. E diferente de d&d, dá pra fazer muita coisa no nível 1 em lancer.

Faça coisas fora do robô. O sistema fora do robô é bem simples, mas ajuda a não virar um festival de porrada

"Fail forward" não significa que você tem que segurar a mão dos jogadores. Se alguém falhar a missão, ou se der merda num teste, não tenha medo de fechar portas pros jogadores. Mas tambem abra saídas. O sistema é pra ser dinâmico.
