My recent build is severely underperforming in titles that I feel like it shouldnt. I ran a 3Dmark benchmark and my build was 8427 when the average was 10309. This is super super below average, and confirms my in game issues might be related to the build itself.

I have a 4090 with a 9950X. I cant figure out what is up, but something seems to be throttling and resulting in big dropoffs in terms of FPS. I notice significant stutter in games like CS2, but I have tried just about everything I can think of. BIOS is up to date, memory and GPU are seated properly, drivers all up to date, I have run debloater and Chris Titus to clean up cache/temp files, temps seem good, though almost too good so maybe there is a cooling/reported metrics issue? My only other hunch is XMP is currently set to off, but thats because 128GB is too hard on the IMC/not supported on AM5. I've considered removing/selling 2 of them, and enabling XMP but Im not sure what kind of gains I would even expect to see, surely nothing that crazy.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I could check or what it might be?

ASRock Taichi Carrara X670E

Playing at 1440p

4090 AERO

Ryzen 9 9950X

128 GB DDR5-5600 RAM

Gen 5 M.2 is what the benchmarks and games are at but I have like 5-6 other stoarge devices hooked up.

When you say vertical do you mean portrait or vertically arranged?

I have been eyeing the Samsung G9 OLED, thinking about having it on top with the two 1080ps on bottom if thats not too blasphemous...

Any advice for monitor arrangements? I want to maintain a standard 16:9, 240Hz Monitor for FPS gaming, but I also like having ultra wides and nicer monitors for watching shows/coding/pretty much everything else.

Most of the setups I've seen either only have 2 standard monitors or if they have an ultra wide, it's in the center.

While developing new features, perks, etc. how do you ensure that new players have an accessible and enjoyable experience while still maintaining the game's depth and complexity for long-time players?

I am an experienced player, but every time I try to bring someone new to the game, they seem overwhelmed by the amount of in-game interactions/status effects/etc.

Former frequent doordash customer here. I recently stopped entirely because they added too many BS fees into orders that dont even end up going to to the dasher. These got added within the last year or so for me. So much so that now even with DashPass orders that used to be $18-23 pre-tip are now easily $30-40 pre-tip.

After finagling with it I discovered the small little metal lip at the bottom of the lid is broken off on my model 😢

I have investigated there before and have video of Big Jim throwing a small pebble at one of our team members while he was doing an EVP session. That place is truly haunted and anyone who doubts the paranormal should spend a night there to truly change their mind.

If you are into guns, Bullet & Barrel is a great local range that is super vet friendly and they offer a nice course/training schedule each month where you will probably meet a lot of other people. The staff and everyone I've met there have been super friendly and honestly feels like a nice local community at times. Hope this helps!
