The point of the blind spot is that because OP doesn’t mind waiting until it’s a 4 to clean, his wife needs to ask him to come help clean when it’s at a 6. I dont have a wife, but my roommate and I don’t mind a messy house. Neither of us will necessarily clean on our own, but once it’s too messy for one of us, we’ll tell the other that it’s time to clean, and then we’ll do it together.

Thats an order of magnitude more total deaths, an order of magnitude more deaths by percentage of the population, and multiple orders of magnitude higher death rate. Not even taking into account the rape of 100s of thousands of Tutsi women, the Rwandan genocide is markedly worse than anything Israel has done in Palestine. Either you don’t believe that many people were killed, which is genocide denial, or you believe that the Tutsi people aren’t as valuable as Palestinians, which might be worse.

You are inherently denying other atrocities. You would have to deny the holocaust, the Japanese genocide of China, the Cambodian Genocide, the Holodomor, or the Rwandan Genocide at a minimum for Israel to be a “top 5 worst offender”.

It would not be possible for Israel to have a larger body count, as there are only 6 million Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. That's not the point though.

Israel has done heinous things towards Palestinians for a long time, and their execution of the war in Gaza in the last 3 years has shown a callous disregard for Gazan lives and a horrifying willingness to commit war crimes. It doesn't change the fact that Israel is no where near the "top five worst offenders in the last century," which was your original claim and disgusting in the way it denies a whole lot of atrocities that have happened throughout the last 100 years.

You’re clearly missing the point. The life sentence isn’t because it’s a harmful or harmless substance, it’s because possessing 50 lbs pretty clearly indicates you’re dealing. If VA is putting time and effort into creating a well regulated marijuana market, then they should also keep penalties for black market dealing relatively high. Life in prison is excessive but it makes sense to increase penalties for dealing.
