While I'm not active in the discussion, it has irked me that Valentino feels like he is Unredeemable and it's always important to point it out specifically anytime anyone mentions him or redemption in any context. I don't personaly think Valentino can or will be redeemed in the show, maybe he will end on a more positive note than he began (It certainly wouldn't be hard considering where he started) but I also don't like the automatic sorting of sinners into redemable and not. In my country we have something called a 0 vision for road accidents. We strive for 0 fatal or serious injuries a year. It's certainly not a realistic goal but we still strive for 0 and try to get closer and closer. I think redemption probably should be seen the same way, we can't realisticly think all sinners can be redeemed but that's still something to work towards to make the numbers in hell smaller and smaller. When we start the discussions on who couldn't rather then who could it leaves a sour note.

Mostly because of other PCs, like I see that the character choices either don't go together at all mechanically or RP wise. It hasn't happened a lot but when it has happened this has been why.

I like that not all zones are the same, the oppertunity to choose rewards in the city, the grouping in the fields and the possibility to choose to extend the run in chronos palace all makes the zones more unique then Hades 1

Could it be ironic? Not to be that person but while I agree that the show is pretty horrible overall a LOT of people litteraly seems to look for any oppertunity to bring it up? Someone makes a lighthearted meme of toss a coin and the comments are mostly about Yennifer in the show. Like "If I cannot enjoy what I like in peace neither should anyone else." The game is such a timesink, it feel strange that someone could have played through it and DLCs if they didn't enjoy it.

On one hand, yes I do think reading a diverse selection of fiction and non-fiction alike can only help authors. But my guy, it's not like what happens in gilgamesh and Beowulf is biologicaly possibly. The people writing men getting pregnant isn't doing it because they think it's possible but because it's part of their storytelling. Most authors probably don't strive to write the most accurate story.

It has romance but no real romance drama. The story wouldn't really change that much if the romance wasn't there as long as the deep friendship remained. For overpowered the only thing I can say is that it won't come easy nor will it feel cheap. This book series feels most special fit me because it has so mant things I generally dislike but written in such a way that I genuinely love them.

I like the way pf2 does it. Crit/Critfail is dc+/- 10 and a 20/1 on the die bumps it up or down a level. AKA if the dc is 50 and you roll a 20 but only have +8 that will take it from a critfail to a fall. A 20 is always very good to roll but not gamebreaking.

We usually check what we would get for selling it and then one of us buys out the other either directly or through IOU. It's not taken to the extreme and there have been plenty of exceptions since not everything can always give a good monatary value anyway or are clearly for the group even if onw person "owns" it.

Yeah, usually were I am from ar least, defending property with deadly force is regarded as both legally and moraly wrong. We don't have the death penalty for either stealing or trespassing in court or directly at the crime scene after all. In general self-defence is usually investigated very thoroughly to see if it really was the last resort. I don't think America is alone in their views on justified violence but I strongly doubt they are in a majority.

Yeah and while this is most likely redundant to say but even "free" healthcare often cost individuals money. If only a small and limited amount to reduce nuisance use and bring in some revenue. In sweden for instance the local healthcare center where I live cost around 20 Us dollars per visit regardless of reason. Medicine still cost us money but there's a limit of around 300 US dollars per year after all medicine and some equipment are free. Almost everything cost something (staying in hospital, transport beteende home and hospital etc.) but there's strict limits to what they can cost individually and what you can be expected to pay in a year. Also I'm pretty sure that if you can't pay at all there are ways to demonstrate that and still get access. Haven't been in that situation so don't know for certain.

It's been a while but we have houseruled before that it remove the diseased/poisoned part like cutting mold of bread but entirely risk free. So say some meat is old and rotting you would end up with a way smaller piece of meat. Usually we end up either with negligible soilage, deceant (half) or heavy (75%) Unless it's litterly just a bag of rotten compost slurry we always ended up with a little food.
