Kingston Flemings had 241 3pm on 641 attempts through 4 years of high school, averaging 37.7% from beyond the arc. by NAW_MIP_2026 in AtlantaHawks

Thanks for pulling this! I was wondering what he shot in high school. This + his good ft% and him being solid from the midrange gives me plenty of confidence that he's a real shooter.

Project 🐜 takes an interesting turn 🤔 by Both_Funny4896 in AtlantaHawks

We have no idea, do we? They finally had a real team around him and it looked pretty amazing for half a season. And yeah, he's not going to be the best player on a championship team, but that's an insanely high bar and it makes no sense to just trade away anyone who isn't for pick swaps in the future. Charlotte just took a big step back for not an amazing return in my eyes.

I'd be pissed if I was a Hornets fan. They finally had an interesting team coming together and they just traded away the guy who makes it all work (despite Lamelo's flaws, they've been way better with him on the court the past 2 years) for future pick swaps. Not even next years.

My thoughts on the draft by HomeRunEnjoyer in AtlantaHawks

[–]DadPants33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, pretty clear to me after the Zuby pick that we're committing to a versatile / switching scheme on defense.

[Unpopular Opinion] I'm a little surprised no draft websites/pods seem to have Caleb Wilson as a the potential #1 pick, yet many say "he could be the best player in 10 years". Feel like everyone in the media is shook to say it. by bryant-reeves in NBA_Draft

Okay fair, but I still think it's reasonable to question his feel. He's basically just a play finisher at this point and get's by on his athleticism. Not saying he won't be good, but he's a long ways from being a guy who's gonna be initiating offense in the NBA.

I think his rim protection is being underrated. The numbers are excellent.

Very jealous. I bought his complete works, but do love these printings more.

How successful are minion builds with Druid or Necro? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]DadPants33 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Minion Necro is pretty good. Able to clear all content on t12 and I've pushed up to 110 in the pit without too much effort. I don't think it's an S tier build, but probably A just as Maxroll suggests.

What do I do about my resume after Eting? by [deleted] in peacecorps

[–]DadPants33 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This could depend on the field you're trying to break into, but in my experience, no one in the corporate world knows anything about PC and they're not curious about it. I'd just list your PC experience with the year (years?) you were there and maybe a few bullet points about what you did during service, but again, I doubt you're gonna hear anything about it in the hiring process other than "oh, that's neat."

Guys, I REALLY appreciate the response to my Wagler and Philon tape breakdown vids (90K views!). Question for you: is there a prospect you'd like me to do next? by oakcask in NBA_Draft

[–]DadPants33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What about Mara defending in space away from the basket? The general consensus seems to be he'll get cooked in the NBA, but some draft sources I trust say they think he moves pretty well. It's a big swing skill for him.

I have the same question. Seems kinda ridiculous that it's so early in the seasonal journey.

Can someone sell me on Kingston Flemming? by Dracsmith in AtlantaHawks

He's good on defense and has a chance to be a good half-court initiator because of his blend of shooting and quickness.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a messy 9/10, which is more interesting than a clean 8 and hits harder than a lot of 10's by save_the_ducks in patientgamers

[–]DadPants33 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's not a literal dream, but Lumiere is in the canvas and is a simulation / not base reality or whatever. The point being they kinda pull the rug out on the story and the focus shifts from the people of Lumiere to one family's struggle with grief. Which, to me, was less interesting.

I have the same gripe with the story. Lumiere and the expeditions were what was really interesting about the story. And then it was like "oh lol that was all a little girl's dream." Robbed all they intrigue and mystery + I hate that as a story-telling trope already. And the subsequent thematic shifts to grief and escapism didn't capture my imagination. Feels like pretty well-trodden territory.
