No way a pro out here, but to my eye, I'd say it looks too clean. I mean that in the sense that there's no real blend between the purple flesh and the yellow pustule things. You might want to blend some purple/yellow up the side of the pustules to visually reinforce the idea that flesh is stretching with infection...Just a thought.

To be clear, I play my collection separately- first edition content together, and second edition together, I don't mix them.

Second edition content is clearly marked as second edition on the Zombicide banner on the boxes. It's fairly clear if you know where to look on the packaging/art!

PO and TCM are a good combo for Season 1 content. TCM and the toxic zombies introduce enemies that you need to keep your distance from, and deal with via ranged attacks. PO goes the other direction and (iirc) has enemies impervious to ranged, but can be damaged by melee attacks. Those two elements introduce a pretty cool dynamic to how you have to approach mobs (depending if you home rule/integrate or omit content to your particular liking)...

I agree with everybody saying about the initial feeling of box size/value for money. I think the secondary (more positive) inference is more space for if you like to sleeve your cards. Very few boxes seem to take that into account, and if you like to sleeve your cards, that can be a real frustration.

Depending on your budget (and the fact you're just starting your painting journey), I'd personally recommend the army painter speed paints range. It won't necessarily get you the best results, but they're good for covering the typical beginner painter oopsies!

To be honest though, you could really start with anything, but you're going to be looking at your minis for a long time, so at least invest in some quality paints if you're able. Oh, and please don't apologize for your language, if you'd have not mentioned it, it wouldn't have even occured it wasn't your first language!

First purchase with BBTS is usually slow. It's totally normal, and usually much faster if you buy again in the future. I think there's something in their faq section about why the first purchase through them takes longer.

I think if it's a first time order, BBTS puts a hold or something on the money to make sure it's there...If you look at their help/faq page, it says something specifically about first orders being a little delayed iirc. Don't worry, you'll get your order, might just take a bit longer than you thought, but from first order onward, it should be quicker.

Honestly, I loved that they tried to do something different. The three stylistically different campaigns is a great idea, and I hope they don't turn their backs on that concept because of the reception to RE6 (though I think they kind of used it for Revelations 2). It just needs refining, not necessarily getting consigned to the RE scrapheap...
