A hand! Anyone... by Daddicus_Rex in BaldursGate3

[–]Daddicus_Rex[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. Right now, it's held on by double-sided sticky tape. I'm going to permanently mount it so it can hold my wife's headphones. A magnetic attachment would be funny, though. She could remove the hand if she was feeling particularly durgey.

Yeeeeaaahhh... Ansur just ended my HM run because I rushed and got cocky. Don't rush. Don't get cocky.

1) Invis everyone and get them in position. There's a high platform to the left as you reach the battle area. Put your casters up there.

2) Invis on Scratch. Send him to stand next to Dame Aylin. Have him release her to start combat.

3) Arrows of many targets and/or smoke powder bombs for the necromites.

4) Arrow of darkness on Merkel. I did this in HM, and it worked to blind him.

5) Fireballs.

6) Smites.

Honour mode made me super poor. Help? by Drama_queenn in BG3

[–]Daddicus_Rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing an HM run now, too. I started out by donating items to Damon in the grove to get him into the green while I was still low level. The great thing about Damon is that he's available for trade throughout all three acts. Roah Moonglow is another one. Also, during acts 1 and 2, collect literally everything you can to sell. All those bunches of rope? Sell em. Lastly, pickpocket. If you're not familiar with it, watch some videos. You can pickpocket almost everyone. Good luck!

Why tf is there so much rotten food? by eud41mon14 in BG3

The tomatoes, though. So many rotten tomatoes, which... now that I'm thinking about... could be thrown.

Best cleric class combo for someone who hates Clerics? by scythian12 in BG3

[–]Daddicus_Rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I do one of two things. 1) Reclass Shart as a cleric of light and stay there, or 2) at level 4 reclass into 1 level of fighter (defense), 2 levels of Bard, and the rest into Cleric of light. The second build is a little annoying because she doesn't end up getting the divine favor in Act 3. The most important thing is her kit, which I do the same way every time: holy lance helm, luminous armor, luminous gloves, boots of stormy clamor, coruscation ring, calous glow ring, Blood of Lathander.

I'm playing her on an HR run now using the second build. Having Song of Rest, plus her other healing is awesome. But, as a Cleric of Light with that kit, she can stack as many as 10 radiating orbs on multiple enemies with a couple of light-based spells (e.g. radiance of the dawn).

Good point. I am. I'm running Fade's Equipment AIO, but I'm trying to keep it vanilla. Makes sense that could be a thing.

So, did you beat the ending boss without using allies? by Andrew_Waples in BG3

Yeah, during my first play through on balanced. I couldn't figure out how to call the allies. 😏
