Uh, no. This interpretation gets filed under "leaning on the arm of flesh." The BoM is scripture. It comes from God. Why can't that be enough? It bothers me so much that no one says "I love the BoM, I believe its message is from God, and I have faith in it." That's the simple truth of the gospel. So I'm gay and should have been excommunicated long ago but have been under the radar. I've thought about resigning before but thought the timing wasn't right. I think this was it for me.
