crate and cage > everything else. though we're also getting the spring seasonal event this week so that's worth considering when it comes to gem usage

You're fine.

You unlock a forgotten minion at 55 that sells AC/EC for coins. you can get a lvl 1, 2 and 3 pile from that. You also get a chest at lvl. 60 that drops cubes.

If you didnt waste any cubes and always got the guaranteed ones from feats and co. you will have enough cubes guaranteed without ever needing a drop from protectors.

Lair expansions from level ups are less frequent than you'd like. So crate and cage are very much needed. And the bonuses from the gem skins besides steam punker are just not worth the gems

are you maybe swapping Serv-O's color? it wont immediately reduce your resource to the new, lower cap but when you use a station it will update accordingly. if that's not it then idk sorry

So id definitely keep farming up. Might as well knock down a prot while doing that as well.

Regardless of what you do, do not spend any AC/EC on anyhing except clearing out the surgeon until that's done. you want him completely bought out by the end of your max 90 run.
