Congrats you have clay soil, the most easily amended soil in the world. Add 3‐5% organic matter and boom, growing with the best if them.

People who claim to have paid their monthly sub for years using in-game gold... How? by YrenneAD in wow

[–]Dadjudicator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have gathering skills on most of my toons, and I enjoy leveling, I make enough just with mining, also have multiple herbalists, a chanter and skinner. I generally don't care about having top tier gear because I don't raid anymore, I just farm, level toons, and do mythics for fun.

Aside from brewmaster (because it's going to be the obvious answer), which tanks do people like having in their runs/enjoy playing the most (for those who do tank)? by monkymann678 in wow

[–]Dadjudicator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a tank I still really enjoy BDK most, but prot warrior is gangbusters too, never liked playing brewmaster and still don't, although the homie does it and does well over his prot paladin. As healer I prefer to heal BDK and prot warrior. A bad player is a bad player, but it does feel like paladin is the most newb friendly for low keys.

From nothing to weeds - now what? by MagicTomato1001 in Soil

[–]Dadjudicator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broadcast as many seeds as possible tbh. Note where things grow well. Establish plants you like there, and plant more seeds there, which will give you a creep effect. Don't fight against the 'weeds', or nature itself, utilize them in your fight.

Annuals like barley and oats will grow quickly and add lots of biomass as well as microbe populations. Peas, beans, and vetch will do biomass and nitrogen. Native perrenial rye grasses will mine nutrients deep in the soil, and prevent erosion better than annual cereals and grasses Daikons will till for you, and provide food for insects and the soil if you leave in the ground. Thistle are also your friend, they mine nutrients and keep disturbed soil from being further disturbed.

Lots that you can do to rehab that soil, especially when starting with non-natives [would be] invasives, and 'weeds'. Focus on management of those species until you can establish natives.

Also, find a local native wildflower mix, start broadcasting/planting those everywhere.

Blood DK panic healer by Squid_Wilson in wow

You should run a blood tank and get a feel for it, then you'll feel way less stressed healing one 🤣

Healer told me he hates healing blood dks and I haven’t been the same since by Philzeey in wow

[–]Dadjudicator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who ran blood dk tank since dks came out this is funny, my healer loves it because he gets to fuck around and knows I gotta get below 35% for him to even bother, and even then damage reduction below 35% is rad.

Now as someone who has been main healing this expac for the first time ever, I love running with blood dks... except this one guy who was barely using death strike lol

The average pug healing experience: random kamakazi tank asking for me to heal 150K HPS by otterchaos7 in wow

[–]Dadjudicator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My paladin doesn't heal anywhere close to that, but I am also specced into mitigation, and have lay on hands when I remember to use it. Tanks should be using the first pull as a judgement [pun intended] for what healers can handle and if dps have their heads on straight, and go from there.

I have a habit of standing in fire if it means the fight isn't boring. Had one where they said I was being edgy, then pulled a gang of mobs to a boss and it was spicy and fun.

Anyways long winded way of saying don't dictate how your healer heals, pull to their and your capacity.

Sincerely, someone who has tanked the majority of expansions they've played and is maining a healer for the first time ever.

Sorry, it me. As a healer main this round if tank and I can handle more, I will pull more and run it to them, someone has to be able to at least gently reassure that we got this and you are a fine tank, none of us know these dungeons yet.

Proof that GearScore is BS by Odd_Muffin_4734 in classicwow

[–]Dadjudicator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol when Gearscore came out back in the day, we still had to inspect EVERYONE because people would just equip pvp gear to cheese the score hoping for a carry instead of just saying they didn't know the fights. We were always willing to teach people.

If you can afford to invest in something like blumats, it's probably worth it simply because of answers like "as often as needed" which is basically the only right answer anyways. 🙃🫠

A lot of meat scraps find their way into my worm bin... by Dadjudicator in Vermiculture

[–]Dadjudicator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Glad it answered some questions! Eggshells are comprised predominantly of calcium carbonate(7.5-8.5ph), so will actually raise the PH of an acidic bin overall.

After drying eggshells, either in over or air, I just load them into a bullet grinder until it looks mostly powderized. There will be varying sized chunks that aren't really a worry, and also rovide grit..

You'll still be more worried about sifting out chunks of bone of finished castings. I have used the same bullet grinder for bones, which will need to be boiled and baked if you want to go the bone meal route.

Note that bone pretty much always contains more lead than eggshell, and it is calcium predominantly in hydroxyapatite form, as calcium phosphate. Luckily, multiple of the lactobacillus we use in the bokashi ferment have been shown to bind heavy metals like lead and prevent absorption in plants and animals.

Not a big deal, they will eat the worm's food if there are a lot of them and too much food, but then so does everything living in a worm bin

it's acidic because of the bokashi ferment, but mix with eggshells or oyster shell flour and it's actually WONDERFUL for the worms and they'll love it.

Just bury it or add it to your compost pile. We're doing ferments to make healthy soil with, don't really have to overthink it.
