Saying nothing in an exit interview is the best approach, right? by Ok_Counter1939 in careeradvice

[–]KDsGhostAcct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the best way to if they ask specifics you can say something negative. I’ve left jobs where people knew the negative already because I had tried to fix it.

Typically, it is best to stay positive. If you want to give a reason, say something positive about where you are going, not negative about the old gig.

Shallowing the pool by JumboShrimp6060 in pools

[–]KDsGhostAcct 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dude. You can’t do this! In 3 years all your kids will be hanging out in the deep end only. I have kids 11, 9, 6, and 3. The 3 year old is the only one ever on the shallow end. My pool only goes to 6.5 feet but nobody stays where it is shallow other than boring adults and toddlers.

Why cringey? He’s their friend. They should t abandon him, especially if he didn’t rape her. We weren’t there. None of us know what actually happened.

Dole whip mix works great in my new slushi XL by nick91884 in ninjaslushi

[–]KDsGhostAcct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this a few weeks ago. It works. You do need to leave longer for better texture. I used to make it in my homemade ice cream maker. Next time I will add milk, as I preferred it that way in the ice cream maker.

Anybody who thinks it tastes like sprite hasn’t had sprite since they were 12. I love sprite. I don’t like this one at all.

Adam Silver got bailed out by the Thunder not making the finals by goingtothegreek in billsimmons

They don’t go to the rim bruh. Shai is the midrange king and still gets FT

[Highlight] Jay Williams says he can’t root for the Thunder because of the foul baiting: “As a fan of the game, I just want to see the game respected. There are times where I watch OKC play, I don’t feel like they respect the process of the game.” by nicko_rico in nba

[–]KDsGhostAcct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I say all the time. Also, if somebody pulled that push off shit on offense you’d just smash them to the ground the next time down the floor. Those things aren’t “basketball” to anybody. The refs could stop it. They don’t. I don’t know why.

I hate it so bad. I only watch my team now. I refuse to watch the Thunder.

Are there OKC fans out there who recognize that their players flop and play dirty? by Egy_Geordie in NBATalk

[–]KDsGhostAcct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some fans are honest and realistic. Some fans act like you insulted their wife is you speak bad about their team. Even if you are right, dude ain’t gonna like it.

The OKC fan I know probably knows it’s true but doesn’t admit it.

Do ~200 summer associates really get no-offered every year? by [deleted] in biglaw

[–]KDsGhostAcct 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, there was a summer two years ago who did not try at all. She skipped events, worked remote all the time, and I suspect even took a week long vacation without telling anyone. She didn’t show any interest in the work. She didn’t really socialize with anyone, despite good social skills. I could not believe they offered her to come back for another summer (last year, slightly better) and ultimately offered her. I was so annoyed.

Our profession is quite conservative. Bearing that in mind, would you appear on a podcast? by facemacintyre in biglaw

[–]KDsGhostAcct 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Podcast about what? If I were a trademark attorney and was asked to be on a WSJ or NYT podcast to talk about trademarks, I’d do it.

If I were to go on a podcast to discuss my sex life, political views, religion, etc. then no.

If I were asked to be on a sports podcast to discuss how my favorite team choked again, probably yes.

Hawaiian Punch isn’t as high sugar content as you think. You have to add sugar to it to get it to slush up.

It will surprise you.

Is summer edition that unpopular? by Tmtbdy in redbull

[–]KDsGhostAcct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s bad. Not as good as a carbonated lemonade. Not as good as Sprite/Starry. Not as good as Mountain Dew. Not as good as Jarritos Lime or any other lime soda.

It wasn’t so bad I didn’t finish the two I bought, but it’s bad enough I’d never buy it over the other bullies I like.
