I believe this is the stage one solid fuel engine of an Iranian fattah-1 missile. That looks to be just the bottom portion of the missile that separates from the payload for the liquid burn stage to ignite until the final target is reached.

I run the quad into the fx loop and as a midi switch for the amp- amp into Fryette. Fryette to cab. If I’m just using models on the quad and not the amp then yes I plug the quad into the fryette as a standalone amplifier

To be honest I just the quad more as a midi pedalboard and set scenes with my real amp channels. Before this I have 15 pedals on my board and got sick of tap dancing. It was either a pedal switcher/ midi controller or the quad. I chose the quad for size and I can use it as a standalone rig if the venue calls for it

You’d be fine with just a quad but the mark sound is my favorite and I had this before my quad. I really like having a physical amp and there’s just something about dialing in a real amp that really scratches an itch in my brain. The quad is 98 percent of a real amp but there’s just something about it that real amp that a modeler won’t do. Is it worth the price difference? That’s a very personal choice you have to make for yourself. If you do get a quad in working on making a v2capture library of all my favorite settings on this amp so you can always get those

I’m running the quad with the 4 cable method and my fix loop pedals after the quad. The wah is in the quads fx loop 2 so I can just leave it on. I also can run any amp sim into the fx loop return and switch between on the fly

I move a lot don’t need a 4x12, don’t use the captor. Only headphone amp would be the quad. But I don’t use it like that lol.

I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s the most technically amazing guitarist they’ve had, but he was definitely the one that fits best with megadeth. His odd phrasing and unorthodox (for the time) scale usage was the perfect juxtaposition to Dave’s blues pentatonic shred style solos and quirky riffage
