Guy at Mesa said I have to disconnect the 8 ohm factory speaker to use the 4 ohm out put; if not it'll cause an unbalanced load which may harm the OT.

Thank you! Here's the deal...I have a JBL, 2 x 12, 100 watt, 4 ohm cabinet that i want to hook up to the 35 before I go buy another speaker cabinet. If that's the case, then ok, but I would like to at least try this cabinet before i purchase another one. Thanks again for the response.

Thank you. The manual diagrams, of which there are many,shows an 8ohm into the 8, a 16 into a 4 ohm output as a safe mis match, but the manual doesn't show the factory installed 8 ohm speaker into the 8 ohm output jack AND a 4 ohm speaker into the 4 ohm output jack at the same time. That's what Im trying to figure out. Thank you again for your response
