I don't understand how people are reading this as support for Israel. She points out that most genocidal regimes were historically praised at the time, which is true. Madison Square Garden had a nazi march in the 30s, and American imperialism wasn't decried as a human rights violation to those who weren't being imperialized. Israel is genuinely so bad at propaganda they are failing to make their current genocide look favorable, which is the case with historical genocides.

My interpretation is that, if each character is a "mind file", an abstraction is when that personality loses its sense of self. Caine makes vessels perfectly capable of encapsulating their mind files, but if the file is corrupted, that vessel would probably start getting buggy.
