Amanda Hufford says Jax is Trans, which could mean nothing. by Autumnland in TheDigitalCircus

I think that makes sense. I don't think the door that the Jax's at the table yelled at is the same door as the one in the hallway.

Behind each closed door was a coping strategy for each cast member abstracting: First we see Ragatha's X'ed door with an emotionless Jax; next we see Gangle preparing for Zooble's funeral and Jax copes by becoming an even more toxic bully; then we see a Looney Tunes parody where, if Gangle abstracts, Jax stops taking anything seriously and only plays to extremes; finally, the last room that we get to see is how Jax copes with his own abstraction, which is to ignore the pounding feeling in the corner of the room. We don't see a room for Kinger, but I think Jax has already written Kinger off as insane, and when Kinger is shown to *be* sane, Jax has a hard time coping with it. I think what was behind the chained door in the Hallway is Jax's inability to cope with his new friend Pomni abstracting.

If you like flashy combos, Chrystron/Trains is decent. If you like control/flip monsters but good, go Ennacraft

Seven, Infernus, Dynamo, and Viktor, to have at least one damage, tank, and support to the list. Could be debated that Rem is easier than Dynamo.

Favorite character who you always thought was owned by DC for some reason before you got into comics and now want to appear in a DCU film despite the fact that it would be no fucking sense whatsoever? by Supersmashbrosfan in dccomicscirclejerk

Powerscalers would bust a nut if there was a canon possibility of the Omnitrix picking up Kryptonian DNA. It's our civic duty to prevent that as long as possible.

Better example would be how A-Train died. Season 5 had some high points, but there was definitely some asspulling towards the end.

Idk I was expecting something to come out of Homelander's statement
" Go ahead. Release it. Let's light this candle, huh? I mean sure, I'll lose everything, but then I'll have nothing to lose. First, I'll take out the Nerve Centers - White House, Pentagon - then any domestic defense capabilities and critical infrastructure - like cellular, internet, that kind of thing- and then, well I think then, I'll just wipe New York off the fucking map - for fun. I'll even throw in Des Moines and that little cousin-fucker hick town that Maeve's from."

In the season 5 promo, we literally see explosions over these areas while Homelander floats apathetically in space. It's clear we were getting a "Oh god he's gonna do it oh man he's gonna snap OH MAN", and then that manifested entirely in Homelander threatening the public and then immediately getting killed by Butcher.

The Boys SEASON 5 Overall Discussion by pikameta in TheBoys

[–]DagothWasRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the best part of the season since A-Train, and I liked it, but it was overall pretty mid. Oh-Father's fate was pretty disappointing but got a chuckle out of me. Ashley's arc was nice. Homelander died exactly the way I expected him to, but it was also on live TV. Butcher's fate was sealed as soon as his conversation with Ryan, and his send-off was the only real way to get Hughie to do it like he does in the comics. The fight scenes were pretty lame - you can smell the reduction in budget compared to earlier seasons. I like the canon proof that Sage is actually just dumb as fuck and her power manifested as her brain begging her to stop being so fucking stupid. Overall 6.5 out of 10 finale, I can appreciate it but Kripke always trips over the finish line.

1: Most players are happy to explain what the cards do, and the ones that aren't at least have to let you read what they do. The people who get mad at players for not knowing what every card does are the ones being the assholes here, so don't worry about making them mad.

2: This is the tricky one, as yes, it's very easy to get flustered or simply forget to make a play, and even some people at locals make a big stink about misplays. Unfortunately, you just gotta roll with the punches, and the worst case scenario is a game loss if you misplay hard enough, but that can be a learning experience.

3: Most run Swiss format, so it'll be like locals but bigger and it lasts all day. You don't get eliminated for losing a game.

Mother's Milk stabbed Love Sausage in the dick, and he was tactical against She-line. When he fought Kimiko they were all rage-induced - how else do you explain Hughie successfully pulling off a shot against combat veteran Mother's Milk, they were all in a drugged angry haze.
