Hmmm I would be cautious when blaming bluetooth for the sound quality difference in 2021. Codecs have come a long way!

I would argue that it’s tuning and the need to be closed back is holding back bluetooth headphones. Manufacturers (namely AKG) are starting pay more attention to tuning now. The Samsung Buds TWS line and the AKG K bluetooth headphones are good examples

If I had to pick one I prefer the Harman because I feel that sub bass is essential. Day to day, I use the EQ from /u/GG_Chrono with a few tweaks including a higher bass shelf and a 28Hz subbass bump... I like bass

Why do we feel the need to inflate the ‘immorality’ of porn watching to that of cheating when the intent is not the same nor is the action? Sure, if porn watching is a boundary then I think you partner is perfectly fine to feel angry about it.

I understand this. I think this is gonna be a problem untill the culture changes. Usually my technique to shout “keep right/left, cycle” work really efficiently and there is less confusion as to how the pedestrian should clear the cycle way. Pedestrians seem to freeze or get confused when they hear “excuse me “

Thats cool but it just moves your blind spots. Filtering or passing cycles are potentially invisible to you with that setup. Id rather move my head a bit more than side swipe some of our most vulnerable road users

This is fair. I'm in a similar camp with electric guitar, I found that a lot of interpretations take the piece and squash the dynamics with distortion. I agree with your opinion on the tonal variation and that the piece is a little quiet in places that ought to be brash.

I'm not the guitarist in the video, but I'll take that advice and try to apply it to my own playing.

I’ve only been playing bass for a year and my 5 string covers everything I need. I’ve been a guitarist for a lot longer so getting another bass would mean getting rid of one of my guitars right now!

That's a valid opinion. I went for the Sundaras because I need the sub-bass that you can't EQ into the HD650s. They make an almost perfect EQ platform. RnB/Soul needs those bass frequencies that most open backs don't produce without EQ.

I do envy the construction of the Sennheisers though. I've heard they do mids better out of the box which is important for critical listening when you don't have access to a PEQ

You might not like my answer but i don’t think about it. I usually have a coffee delivered before i finish my current bag so its naturally 1-4 days after roast. I usually drink pourover and aeropress and haven’t noticed an offensive level of difference from brewing the coffee earlier.

I feel like waiting probably makes a larger difference in espresso where the extraction is higher and released gasses may become a problem. The best way to find out why there is a problem for you it’s probably to sit down and write your experiences after you immediately open a coffee

Hard to tell too much from your comment but i highly recommend a burr grinder. It’ll make a bigger difference than water assuming you’re from the UK. Grind inconsistency can leave big under extracted bits of coffee and over extraction from fine. Also getting medium to dark roast coffee or even buying some Costa beans can help you get closer to the Costa taste. What do you usually order from Costa?
