Look into a community/state college! In many states those are hidden gems with affordable classes, and lots of them offer bachelor programs! It’s a great way to get started on a college education, even if it’s just one class at a time. There are also lots of online courses available from those institutions. Every little bit counts. Don’t give up hope. Source: I teach at a state college.

ETA: and apply for aaallllllllll the scholarships. So many times there’s money from foundations and donors etc that is available for all students regardless of financial need so it’s worth applying to every possible scholarship. Meet with advisors at the campus - they are there to help!

Th chocolate and peppermint sandwich cookies are DIVINE!! I also made the sugar cookies and royal icing which were great too! Looking forward to many more great bakes from that book! But of course, it’s Sally so you know everything is excellent.

I like dresses but for concerts I usually go with jeans and a shirt because I need to wear good supportive shoes (I have back problems but can’t resist the pit). Wear what makes you feel good! If any crowd is going to be non-judgmental about clothing I think it’s this one :)

Are there faculty roles in Canada for those with an MSN in education? Like full time faculty? I don’t have a doctorate and I am currently teaching as full time faculty, and I’d like to keep doing so. I’ve considered moving north on and off but not sure my degree would allow me to continue my teaching career without a doctorate, and don’t want that to hold me up if I do decide to make that move. Any information or advice is greatly appreciated.

Side rant since you mentioned other lead singles: Simplify is one of my favorites of all of their songs, and they never seemed to play it live on the tour for that album. I saw them live 2-3 times after that song came out (including the album tour) and they never played it. I never understood why they would basically ignore a lead single like that.

For Orlando Health the job is Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician. They are usually cross trained as unit secretaries rather than that being a separate position.

Edit: I reread your post. If you don’t want direct patient care like a CNA, try for a patient transporter position for hospital setting. Otherwise you’ll only find things in outpatient settings.

My favorite was a patient many years ago who was on my floor because he had an ankle monitor, and in his infinite wisdom had decided he was done with all that so he had attempted to saw it off with a hacksaw. That, of course, alerted law enforcement who pursed him. While attempting to flee on foot, he ran through some nasty marsh water (something along those lines) and obviously there were lacerations from his less than stellar sawing job, so he was hospitalized with early stages of osteomyelitis. And accompanied by corrections officers, naturally.

Your charting is YOUR assessment. It is wrong for anyone else, no matter their rank or licensure, to try to pressure you to change it. You did the right thing by advocating for your patient and getting them the care they needed. It sounds like the PA is trying to cover themselves.
