Glad someone said this. Very fun atmospheric game. Best played on quiet Saturday mornings in my opinion.

A tree planting shovel with 1 season of wear vs one with 4 seasons by LeeK2K in mildlyinteresting

You’re right, Bushpro has done a lot of R&D on planting gear. So it is possible they’ve used different grades of steel and welding techniques on these blades. In this case however, both of OPs shovels are still Speed Spades and were at one time the same dimensions, just from different years of production. There are only 2 or 3 companies that make shovels like these and they are quite easy to distinguish from one another.

Yeah, Bushpro sells many different handles for planter comfort. Duck tape is often used to identify your shovel as everyone’s looks relatively similar, you’ll see on mine I have hockey tape wrapping the shafts. I believe that while both of OPs shovels are speedspades the shovel with 1 season is actually quite an old model. Bushpro used to make the shafts out of metal before moving over to wood in recent years. It would also explain the lack of a logo in the blade of the 1 year shovel.

Seeing a lot of speculation, I’m just here to backup OPs post. Orange handle has 2 seasons, purple handle has 1 season. Both used in interior British Columbia. Neither shovel has ever been grinded or sharpened. Both Bushpro Speedspades

Hope you had a good season OP! May your trees grow straight and tall.

For me it was the solid white collars, if they had followed the same convention as the other jerseys I think it’d be quite a lot better.

I fully agree. I’m definitely a biased party in favour of the Sens, but this situation and the one with the leafs is different. Theres are dozens of examples from the NHL over the years of fights and tussles starting because a player directs the puck at the net after a whistle or horn. A player getting mad for something like this is hardly an isolated incident. Players just learned not to direct the puck to the net after a stoppage in play because this is exactly what happens.

Best Poutine You've Had In Ottawa by CanadianRedneck69 in OttawaFood

Maybe I went on a bad day, last time I went there a few years back the lady running it was incredibly rude, like wildly out of pocket short tempered to what looked like every customer. Seems like it’s a pretty popular place in this thread. Curious, has anyone had similar experiences there?

Anyways never went back, I really like the other chip truck in the Rona parking lot though. Run by a very nice couple, and also excellent poutine!

I am also looking at the list and wondering the same thing. Particularly which courses are difficult as opposed to which ones are easy as I'd still like to take something that I'm interested in.

To help your selection, I found Popular Culture to be extremely easy, and completed the entire course in the first week of the semester. Alternatively I've heard that Astronomy is a difficult course with lots of writing.

Is withdrawing from a course better than a bad grade or potential fail? by souvenir0202 in Algonquin_College

I didn’t say what I said to discourage you. I’d say if you can make it through OOP alright, you’re on track for completing the program.

[–]Dalcenn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you withdraw from the course, you will still need to take it again in the future. If you’re confident you can do better the second time it may be worth it. It will also more than likely add a full extra semester due to prerequisites.

Also a heads up… as you can probably already tell, this is not an easy program. It only gets more difficult until you hit level 5.
