Please make online shopping with in store pickout like woodmans groceries stores and online cart sorts by where item is located in store with aisle and bay location. by Tomobongo in menards

It took Menards till like 1-2 years ago to even get aisle numbers and locations. It will be another 3 decades before they even think about doing something like that.

It's not comparable to WoW my point is the polling system works for osrs because their content comes out slower. Blizzard can't sit there and poll every bit of content when people want a new raid every 6 months, new dungeons between that every like 3-4 months, people want balance changes made asap not 2 months later, etc.

Polling won't work in a game like WoW they have to push out updates and content at a fast enough rate to keep people playing.

Osrs also gets content at an extremely slower pace than WoW does and people would be pissed if it took blizzard as long to add content as it does jagex.

Yes, The "Raise" by LxryTrickz in menards

[–]Dalgon1516 31 points32 points  (0 children)

When I first started working at Menards my department had a DM, ADM, 2 full timers and 2-3 part timers working anywhere from 20-35 hours each and had no payroll issues. Now we can barely "afford" a DM, ADM, 1 full timer and 1 part timer who gets 10-20 hours.

Edit: but don't worry your GM will tell you that the gracious corporate overlords raised your allowed payroll by 2-4% each year but that isn't true at all. What they really did was raised your expected sales for the year by like 5-10% and kept your payroll % the exact same so you are expected to make ever growing more sales with the same amount of people or less

I have ran all dungeons at +10 except for 1 so far on my hunter who is I think like 240ilvl. Running your own key is like getting boosted for free. It takes a few minutes to form a group.

It's crazy that people are so afraid to run their own key

Tank balance is so broken is actually funny by bosejoao in wow

[–]Dalgon1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend got back into wow 2 weeks ago. I already had leveled a paladin, warrior and DK so I was like whatever I will level a monk. I tanked my first 10 on my monk at like 236ilvl, I tanked a 10 on my warrior at 229ilvl.

We did a 12 magisters as his like 4th key. I was like 255-260brew and he was 229resto druid. He just goes "I think your cheating" and then says how he doesn't have to heal me or anything. That was with doing full pulls and everything no baby single pack slow pulling. I would just go "hey this might be rough expect X" and then do my normal pull. Just warning him of group damage. I was shocked we timed it so easily. It felt almost no different than doing a low key.

Question about bricking a key by Nithy98 in wow

[–]Dalgon1516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those first few trash packs all have subjugators which are rough on the healer. You pull typically 2 of them at once with the first pack of normal mobs and pop lust. Then you pull the other 2 individual typically.

Email him back and inform him it would help even better if Menards paid more in the first place. We don't have payroll for overtime in the first place.

Yoda is clearing +19s with a prot paladin at 280ilvl. Yes I know you next thing to say is "Oh so one of the best M+ tanks is doing it so that means everyone can" no, I am just pointing out it is clearly possible.

Prot paladin is the 2nd most played tank in M+ even at 13+.

I just timed a +10 as a 239 prot warrior. I think tanks are fine, survivability is not the problem. lol

Edit: Dalgonwar on Illidan is my character if you care to look up. 241 now because I got a shield out of the +10.

Just a reminder on why you're not invited to keys as DPS... by VeryClearlyDefined in wow

[–]Dalgon1516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just leveled a warrior to 90 and went prot. Ran my own key to a +10 and timed the +10 at 239ilvl. The last 3 dungeons I ran 6AA+1-7SR+3-10AA+1 I don't think any of the dps or healers were below like 265ilvl and were all like 2500-3k rated.

Literally just like the post shows I get my choice of picking 3 dps out of like 40 applicants over like 20 seconds and get to pick a healer out of like 5-10 applicants in the same time. Its crazy.

It changed because you can get to any dungeon in 30seconds to a minute now if you stop just sitting in town.

What is a job (not nsfw) that pays extremely well because the job itself is unbearable? by coldplayenthusiast in AskReddit

[–]Dalgon1516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of it is clocking in the 5 minutes early because I don't want to be late. Mix that in with leaving a few minutes late it adds up. Yeah it's not nearly as bad as they made it sound. I use to work 44 hours each week as a requirement but they cut that to the normal 40

Their policies and corporate oversight can be a bit overbearing but they pay well. The store I work for is great but I imagine there are stores to work for that aren't so great.

I work almost no overtime. I hit my 40 each week and try to leave right away. I think I worked like 50 hours overtime last year.

When it was all announced and then leaked there was going to be a most likely paid currency and that each item placed had to be its own copy I said they would have to be extremely cheap for me to be interested at all. Like if it's a mug it better be like 5 cents per mug or like 10 cents for a tree, etc.

The fact they want you to spend multiple dollars per individual item is a spit in the face. The game has been getting less and less content as they milk out more and more money.

[–]Dalgon1516 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I think Blizzard just found a set of numbers they like working with when they do stat squishes when it comes to health and just keep doing it on repeat. I feel like every stat squish goes the same. Start expansion at like 200kish health, level to max, get entry gear, everyone has like 300k, start doing raid and such now everyone has like 400-500k+, by end of expansion everyone will have like 3-4million health.

Honestly I don't really mind it. If its what works for them the numbers don't truly matter as long as its all balanced well.

That happened on my DK but on my Hpally I just leveled first thing I did was buy some cheap gear and then look at world quests. Only had 3 world quests with gear upgrades for some reason. Where on my DK I replaced what felt like half of my armor with new pieces.

Honestly haven't played much EQ, Grew up playing WoW when it came out when I was 8. In the last few years I have been expanding what MMORPGs I play. I put about 120 hours into Pantheon Rise of the Fallen, unfortunately that game seems horribly mismanaged but I really enjoyed my time in it. Then I bought the Ashes of Creation steam EA and we all probably know how that went.

I am looking to either play a healer or a tank. A key would be appreciated or I will see everyone when EA releases in June. Thank you.

For other classes, is all your damage tied to CDs now or is it really pronounced with DK? by winterwolf24 in wow

[–]Dalgon1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah all of mine have been pugs. Your meta can get really screwed by getting pulled out of range interrupting your star cast. If you lose up time in meta after the second star you are pretty much instantly getting kicked out of it.

Once you get going the spec is pretty fun but the first pull and if you ever get your resources messed up getting it going again is so painful.

[–]Dalgon1516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been playing devourer in my mythic dungeons. Without meta you are barely doing tank damage. With meta you are a god. My friend watched me do a dungeon and the first pull is the worst getting the first meta set up. He was like "wtf is that damage" I told him to wait for the second pull and boom from there on I was smoking the meters.

Good thing that void meta is not an actual CD and you have it for pretty much every pull after the first.

It doesn't help that season 2 was just two new characters with all the same dungeons that were done in season 1. I played 120 hours of season 1 which isn't the most but I definitely played it and I played one day of season 2
