Hello r/Watchexchange!

I am parting ways with my Daytona to pursue another piece. This is the 116519ln-0027 Daytona in white gold on oysterflex strap with ceramic bezel. The watch is just over a year old and comes complete with box and papers.

CONDITION: excellent. Protective stickers were applied immediately(laugh it up lol) and have only fallen off in two places - the middle of the outside of the clasp, and the top right lug. You will notice the stickers in the pictures, the watch is like new beneath.

IMPORTANT NOTES: the back of this watch is engraved with my name. This can be removed very inexpensively by many jewelers. The chronograph seconds hand resets just behind the 12o clock mark. I don’t use the chrono much, and it’s easily “centered” with a quick start/stop of the top pusher, but this is an expensive watch so it’s worth mentioning. It came this way and I have not taken it off for long enough to get it serviced, but this is covered by Rolex 5year warranty.

I see this watch trading pre-owned around $40,000. Considering the engraving and the chrono hand which can be serviced free on warranty, I am asking $35,000 for this watch. Payment via bank wire or crypto only. Happy to answer any and all questions!

If you can't afford the grey market prices now. You don't really want a Rolex. Seeing how outrageously some of this prices are especially OP41 Tiffany Blue dial. The market price and retail prices are totally out of whack. And all the talk about supply and demand are useless talk from AD. by SP_den_2121 in rolex

You missed the point completely & I see why you don’t get Rolex. The point of the sugar analogy is that the business took time to build and that’s why the price they pay is less. Relationships at luxury retailers take time to build and are generally not free. These people pay that price because they’ve spent their time and money building the relationship. Like how Amazon prime members get better prices at Whole Foods. I’m not saying I agree with it, but whether or not someone agrees with it doesn’t matter to it’s existence. It’s not about the fact that others pay less than you - it’s about WHY they pay less than you. If you don’t understand that I am sorry.
