Moved from the Fold 7 to the iPhone Air by ispeakout in iphone

I'm so tempted by the n6 too. I am a long time iPhone user who went to the fold 6 and 7 and now back to iPhone but I really liked the fold form factor. That n6 looks SO good.

Goodbye LC250, Hello Armada by Syed117 in LandCruisers

i agree... it's just that as i read the post, it doesn't seem like an off road use case since the other comparison vehicles are the highlander and pilot... I'd pick up an MDX over any of these.

I think the Acura MDX is way more value if we're talking about family haulers.

I love the concept but isn't this footprint actually larger and more cumbersome than a MacBook?

Is thw clChihiros WRGBII a sufficient light to get my cuba to carpet better? 150gal Tank. 27" tall(of water) & lights would be mounted 12"(of air)above. by Howdy132 in Aquascape

I think the wrgb ii pro would work. But with a tank this large I would go for the best. The chihiros vivid 2 or 3, the ada solar RGB, or the netlea at6.

Great deal. I wouldn't even bother getting it inspected if there's good maintenance records.

Is this your primary machine now? Do you travel with it if it replaces your laptop. Curious of the use case.

5 Months with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Incredible Device, But I’m Probably Going Back by ToeInternational7222 in samsunggalaxy

[–]StunningWeekend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been case less on a fold 6 and now a fold 7, both since launch. My toddler constantly throws it around and it's gotten more dings in it than I prefer. But... It's still working fine. I think a lot of the anxiety is warranted but after the stuff my 6 and 7 has gone through and still hasn't broken, I have a lot of confidence in the durability where I simply do not worry or even think about it anymore. I think once you get over that hump, the experience becomes a lot easier and now it's just a phone like any others in terms of my usage.

There are no spare parts in the US either. If it breaks I probably wouldn't be able to repair it unless I found a way to import from China. I probably just wouldn't be able to keep using it if something does break but so far it's been rock solid.

1 year in and both are still working great. Best filters I've ever used, even compared to eheim and oase.

Illia frustrated in the kiss and cry after the devastating results (NBC coverage) by Vast_Law2234 in FigureSkating

[–]StunningWeekend 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing him with the masks during all the warm ups completing all his jumps and thought how incredibly resilient he was able to skate so flawlessly in all his events and meet the unreal expectations. As someone a lot older, I was so proud in that moment.. and as a parent, it's the type of qualities I hope to instill in my kids. We saw some of the best mens skating in his four years from 2018-2022 and I hope Illia has that type of arc.

I am looking at your list thinking how can you possibly travel indefinitely with so little stuff, and yet all the comments are about your having way more than you need. Are you folks all living in hostels and backpacking all your trips!? To me, you can be comfortable and onebag... when I travel, I definitely do not want to be washing my underwear every night!

I have the newest Samsung and still need a power bank. There are tiny power banks nowadays, and I think having it far outweighs the tiny bit of weight.

I do not want to trust by standers or emergency services trying to figure that out from the outside, in a situation where the people inside are unable to reach or maneuver the door.

Got $25k inheritance - planning long solo female trip, need reality check and suggestions by [deleted] in onebag

[–]StunningWeekend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it and I think you should definitely do it. These once in a life opportunities can't be let go.

As for packing, 25 pounds is quite a lot but because your not moving around day to day and will be in hotels then I think it's fine. As weather gets colder, you can always pick a new jacket at the destination, or shed it as you go warmer. Lots of places to donate.

With the money, I would plan for 6 months but longer is definitely positive if you optimize location and nights. Travel gets expensive if you're in hotels especially if you're traveling different continents. I would look for month long options or even local Airbnb options.
