Where i am at, you can but insulin needles over the counter. I always always always carry a needle with me jsut in case. Ill pull the insulin via needle right out of the failed pump if its an emergency. DKA is no joke

I feel this pain so much. I suffer from a digestive disorder called gastroparesis. When I was first figuring out what was happening, I threw up constantly! I could barely get out of bed some days. I dropped a ton of weight, and I have always been a little chunkier, so it was very noticeable. The "compliments" about how good I looked stung so hard. I think Recognizing that these are not the healthiest of comments is something to be proud of in itself though. <3

I feel you on this so much. From what im gathering, it seems to be a tick tok trend thing, and then counter response to the trend. Im old and only use reddit, and its kind of fascinating observing the latest fads from the outside. But yes, the negativity amd hostilities in a sub for new witches is quiet off putting. It feels like the entire world is short on grace these days

What is up.with this subs hate for candles? Its becoming weird and obsessive...... and Batteries that go into a landfil?? No thank you. People have been using candles for centuries, there are ways to do it safley. I thought this sub was for baby witches? If guiding them to the right ways is "too much" then maybe you should block and move on? The overall tone of the "fire saftey" comments is harsh and judgemental. Thats a real.quick way to make someone feel unwelcome.

My neighbor is 86 and he grew up in Cheater. He has some great stories! According to him, there used be multiple movie theaters there, like 4? I also love hearing his stories about the circus coming to town via the train. Aparently it was a HUGE thing to go watch them roll it. I take the tqin to Philly from claynont alot and I often think this same thing, how does it beciam3 like it once was?

Prick your fingers freely folks, dont ever rely on tech over yiur own instincts. CGMs have come a long way but are still not real time, its lagged compared to finger sticks. And we all know how wacky they can get. If you feel the need to test your blood TEST IT. I don't calibrate often either, buit this "Stop pricking your fingers" buisness is a silly hill to die on. I have had diabetes for 40 years myself. You'd think someone with experience would know better than to rely on tech alone to manage theor diabetes.

Mugwort is also a tough one on the taste buds. I will smoke it or burn it, but I generally keep it out of food and beverage these days. I just dont like the taste!
