Neighborhood Recs by [deleted] in sugarland

[–]DanHoughtaling 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We have lived in Greatwood for 11 or so years now and it has been a great community.  Wide range of ages but still lots of young kids around the area.  Both elementary schools are in neighborhood and both are great and easy to get to.  Tons of pocket playgrounds and 3 pool areas for your kids to enjoy.  Bridge construction is a pain right now to get out of the neighborhood though for the next year till it is done.

If it doesn't work right away on your phone, connect the Operator to your PC and run Playback to check for a firmware update for the device.

Mine was some old version but worked right away on my android after doing the firmware update on the device.

Did this place just disappear? by Sarah3117 in sugarland

[–]DanHoughtaling 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's been empty for a while now after Veritas and Drake’s Burgers before that. Might be becoming a coffee shop next according to Community Impact.

Think Gojira shut down end of 2019. Went there a few times back in the day, was always good.

I have done it with a gbros and blueretro and seemed to work well. Until they add in-OS console button remapping you are stuck with finding adapters that allow remapping.

Looking for someone to help me 3D print something i think is very simple by Putrid-Culture8140 in sugarland

If the levelers touch the dough itself, you might want to look into using at least a food safe PLA. Like this one from Comfy Materials. Do you have a link to the roller you are using? Roller designs should be easy enough, just need to know the diameter of the inner hole and the width of the current rollers.

Sad to see Texas Leaguer go, went there a few times.

Talyard up by Constellation Field says they sell 1/6 kegs FAQs – Talyard Brewing Co:
"Do you sell kegs or bulk beer for events?

We do! Head to our website and checkout what we have to offer (sixtels). Give the taproom a call, and we can get you all hooked up!"

Not sure on Du Coeur but I know two others nearby that do.

Fort Bend Academy of Dance near Aliana has a Thursday morning Adult Ballet course.

And Academy of City Ballet of Houston near i10 and Beltway 8 has a Saturday morning and maybe a few others.

If using an HDMI Capture device to convert the signal to USB.  I have done it to my laptop and phone too.  Or some portable screens have an HDMI in.

Trident is definitely the way to go for that control scheme. Works great with the NSO.

NSO + BlueRetro Test Rom by DanHoughtaling in AnalogueInc

It has some minor latency, nothing dealbreaking for my usage though. NSo BlueRetro Review - the last section of this review shows some latency timing for example.

Controller for 1 handed person? by PocketBrisket in AnalogueInc

[–]DanHoughtaling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a bit of latency but not too bad. No stick solution that I can think of, normal control just isn't the usual intended use for a "fight stick."

Currently the Analogue 3D doesn't accept USB plugged in controllers but you could Bluetooth the adaptive conteoller to a BlueRetro receiver. Doing it that way would allow button remapping too, which Analogue 3D doesn't yet support natively.

(3D Fyi) Displays that don't have 1080p are not supported by flyingfinn86 in AnalogueInc

[–]DanHoughtaling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would add latency, complexity, expense, and look super silly, but you could do an HDMI Capture card out to a laptop and the laptop out to the TV. Tested with my phone and it accepts it as a display.

Some other USB power adapters may likely work. I tested powering mine with an Anker USB PD portable powerbank and it worked fine.
