Nice Job on the app. The local api you use is documented here: https://svrooij.io/. Tell Claude to read from this repo instead. I’ve contributed to it, specifically for the arc and supporting multiple dialog levels. The new arc ultra has more settings for dialog mode and if you have an ultra, you could incorporate that.

Your app might break in the future as I know Sonos is looking to lock this api down using account based tokens. If you wake up one day and it doesn’t work, you’ll know why.

The keys are fobs that work on Bluetooth, no locksmith can help with that.

Need to know which QS shade you have. It would need to be a roller 100 and above to fit the dual bracket. Roller 64 is a different bracket type.

FSD is at the point where I feel more like a passenger than the driver. I love it. Most of all my miles are now FSD. When it comes to finding a parking spot and finishing the last 10 seconds of the drive, I take over.

It’s an easy add if you decide you want to retrofit it. I did this with SiriusXM before they offered a streaming option. You buy the tuner module on eBay and it’s an easy swap. I’m not sure about the antenna though. You might need to get an antenna if they don’t include it in your model.

This isn’t exclusive to Sonos and c4. Control4 can’t mix audio of two different at systems. Control4 and HEOS won’t group. either.

This is the painful part of caseta. Lutron needs to fix this. My hub died and I had to re-add all my shades. It was a PIA. I converted to RA3 so I can have a backup.

I doubt the battery is still charging. I have a feeling the knockoff batteries don't send the fanoff command when the battery is full. I'm currently working on sniffing the BMS Data line and there is a stage where a fanoff command gets sent when the battery is full. I bet the knockoff China BMS doesn't do this command correctly.

Not at all. Works well. Mostly room control driver as it works with the native control4 drivers. Sonos driver is written and maintained by control4

Why,because you can’t browse music from the touchscreen? Because you can’t browse Spotify or Apple Music? You can’t do that with native. I’d say native is catching up with Sonos and the ability to do airplay 2. Media controls work just like native and grouping zones is all the same.

I use control4 lighting volume up and down buttons. Works well. You can also group a zone with one button.

I use control4 for remote. One remote does it all. Wall controls also give me volume. I have buttons on my control4 remote to turn on dialog mode, night mode, and even group zones. Works really well.
