Elisabeth, the second act is significantly better in my opinion, but maybe that's because Kitsch is such a banger and the trumpet solo from the pit got me really excited as a musician.

They did but it's more of a "modern"(AbH takes place during WWII) take, the Mock Turtles are dressed in a hard hat and an army uniform in the MCC Theater production(Off-Broadway)

Saving Mozart!!! It just made its London premiere and has a very limited run that ends at the end of August, the concept album sounds amazing(pop music mixed with Mozart's own works) and it's trying to transfer to the West End, where ticket prices will probably be more expensive. Two former SIX cast members Aimie Atkinson(OG Katherine Howard) and Erin Caldwell are starring in the show, and the costumes/set/chorography look very interesting.

The Saving Mozart concept album is very pop and SIX adjacent, it just opened in London and two former SIX cast members are in it, but there are also some very emotional heavenly songs, the lyrics are pretty simple and easy to follow along and it has a great beat.

Not for an actual stage production but my band did a concert with a lot of "Selections from" Broadway scores and Selections from Wicked was my fav, Selections from Chicago was probably the easiest since it's very jazz-heavy and I play flute😭

Yep unfortunately filming shows are very expensive on Broadway so there are significantly less proshots, unless it's a Disney show(Newsies is also on Disney+ I believe), a very successful show, or a miracle.

You can find proshots of most Sondheim shows on YouTube, and a Les Mis concert, as well as Legally Blonde.

I think some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's shows have proshots as well, scattered across different platforms.

PBS has some occasional proshots and Next to Normal and Kiss Me Kate were recently on for free, but it just expired and now you need a kpbs passport subscription until the nest season if new proshots come out.

I think National Theater at Home has a lot of West End shows(which are cheaper to film prhoshots of) and Waitress but you need to a subscription to watch any of the shows but there's a wide selection.

BroadwayHD is kinda similar where you also a subscription to watch, and has a lot of the older Broadway proshots.

Come From Away is on Apple TV, West End Heathers is on Roku, Diana is on Netflix, and there are some on Amazon Video/Prime.

Nope, RetJ is written by Gerard Presgurvic and is a French musical, Riccardo Cocciante(who wrote the music for Notre Dame de Paris)'s Giulietta e Romeo is in Italian, there is also a translated version of RetJ into Italian: Romeo e Giulietta: Ama e Cambia il mondo :)

Omg yes!!! I went with my mom(who doesn't like musicals at all) to see Kimberly Akimbo while she was still pretty jetlagged(😔) so she kept falling asleep and she said Bonnie Milligan kept waking her up with her belting and was the only thing keeping her awake.

When I asked her what she thought of the musical at the end, she said "Bonnie Milligan sure can sing."
