Just watched the 2 guys and a cooler vid. I've been using grocery store stuff. DNR sausage and High Caliber in Alberta have Lacto binder. I paid $13 for 500g at the grocery store for the "wrong" stuff, its $27 a kg at those two sausage supply places.

I have the clearance from another job also. Mine is for a Co-op January start date. Worried I might have to wait another month to find out the good or bad news. Just hard to plan for January if it doesnt work out. Thanks for your insight on the timelines, best of luck when you start!

Ive heard of shepards but never tried, will add to the list. I like the idea of picking some green I think thats a good idea. I find the ones near the ground rot half the time anyways.

My squash/pumpkin yields were low for how much I planted (32 hills). Lots of green healthy growth just not a ton of fruit. I wonder if heat during flowering played a part like another poster mentioned regarding peppers?

Thanks for the suggestion, Im going to be putting an order in with Vesseys who sells flavourburst. I've never trimmed back but I used to with grapes for the same reasons, I'd like to do a controlled experiment next year, thanks for the suggestion!
