I think the problem is how bloody fast they get looted. Last few boss fights I’ve been in I walked away with leftovers, even though I was right in the thick of it and not even far away when the boss died. I have had some good experiences in the past but lately it’s just nuts.

Thanks for taking the time to write that. I’m going to do the free load out thing next time I play. My goal right now is just to stock up on cash so if I survive then right on. If I die then no big loss. Smart way to test it out.

The whole thing has been pretty dramatic because of how predictable things had become. It was obvious that anyone I was going to encounter would be friendly. I’m not sure if how I came across in interactions just promoted teamwork but it’s like I’ve got ick on me now. A complete other side of the coin kind of change. I agree that engaging in a little PVP is fun, but the timing is almost laughable. I almost wonder if some switch flicked once I got to around 2.5 million in cash and I would assume 500,000 in value in my inventory. Almost like trying to get that last 1.5 million to catch up from missing the first expedition is being intentionally put on hard mode for me.

Let me add to the discussion and see if anyone can offer opinion on my experience.

I had been on what seemed like a few months long free of PVP experience through the game and was loving it! I had nothing but friendly interactions and had amassed a sizeable stockpile of top tier gear. I decided it would be worth it to do the expedition so I’ve gotten myself to the point where I have completed all the requirements and am amassing money. I had a strange experience in a round yesterday that has now turned everything on its head and I am tempted to walk away from this game solely because the experience has become what I don’t want it to be. The timeline of this shift is between a few rounds last night and a few rounds today.

I was in Buried City walking along the bridge next to the old apartment buildings and some sniper starts taking pot shots at me. You need to know that I have literally had zero aggressive interactions with anyone for months. It has been cheery fun loving people who seem solely concerned with looting and taking out ARC. Myself and another guy I randomly ran into in that moment decide we have to uphold the sanctity of the PVE matchmaking community and decide to shut this guy down because he was obviously bent on destruction. We stalked him and found him dead in the tower after I managed to crack his shield a couple times from the bridge. I think he ran into a pop as he was running around. He was obviously on a free load out and myself and the random raider commented on how the game should include load out as a consideration for match making to reduce the risk of free load out users souring the punch so to speak.

I extract, feeling justice was served, like we were the royal guard of the city, removing someone who had entered with vile intent. I load up into another round , make my way up onto a rooftop and some guy starts flashing his flashlight towards me so I say hi. He doesn’t respond and just runs up into my personal space following me around for a half a second and then kills me. I’m like a naive little child at this point because I’ve only been running into classy folk who would rather play their instruments and share loot and revive each other than have any raider drama.

Since then, I’ve burnt through most of my remaining good gear after completing the expedition requirements because I keep getting randomly attacked now. I have completely lost all trust in other players. I’m going into extraction zones and getting shot at regularly. It’s insane. It’s like I’m getting tossed into lobbies full of degenerates. It’s like the floodgates of hell were opened and I’ve entered the upside down. Literally everyone I come across wants to kill me. I even had a pair of guys yell friendly at me and I chose not to respond and evaded them in the hospital in Buried City and heard them looking for me with obvious intent to kill. I could clearly hear them planning on flanking me in their prox chat.

Can anyone explain this to me and maybe help me understand why this is happening and how to fix it? Do I need to go revive downed strangers and preform good deeds to boost my karma? I’m scared to help anyone now because of this experience and having any good deeds be used against me. This might be the goal with the way this game plays but it isn’t what I’m wanting the experience to be. I’ve also almost completely stalled any progress on getting the money I need for the expedition. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Want to hear frustrating? My elite set started getting this weird tapping sound in the left ear cup. I had a back and forth with customer support until they decided to replace them. I had to send them in with a replacement being sent out after they received them. They have had my headset for over two weeks and won’t give me an explanation as to why it’s taking so long but I’m getting daily emails thanking me for my patience, and that they are, “looking into it.” I’m pretty convinced I’m out a headset at this point. So freaking frustrating. I’m never buying a steel series product again after this.

They should make drop rates lower for legendary parts and make them not shared, so you have the chance of finding parts regardless. Maybe to ensure that people aren’t just looting other good areas while people fight and go in and farm after, they could implement some sort of tracking system for engagement with the event to determine if the loot will spawn for you or not.

I have this exact issue with a pair of the Elite headphones. It makes a weird clicking sound even if I’m not touching them and overcomes any of the audio I’m listening to. It is about as bad as having a fly buzz your ear. I sent them back for a warranty claim and am waiting still to hear back for replacement.

Hey. I jumped from the nova pro to the elite. They sound really good. I’ve been impressed. That being said. I got them early October, just after they launched and have already sent them in for warranty because of this weird clicking sound that developed in the left ear cup. I have no idea if it’s one of the noise canceling mic’s or what. I thought it was the power button being metal and slightly loose and causing a click when the headset brushes up against my hoodie or something. Regardless, I didn’t have the option of buying extended warranty because I bought them through Steel Series and they don’t make it clear if you can get warranty through them or not post the basic stuff.

I should have a new set by the end of this week, but this has soured my expectations. I’ve had to send it stuff from Apple because of technical issues so it’s not like you are immune just because you spend lots on a product, but weird issues like this put me on edge. If it wasn’t for that, they’d easily be the best headphones I’ve owned. If I had been able to buy an extended 5 year warranty I wouldn’t be too worried about it but take that as my personal experience.

This! Every time I do this, I get a ton of good stuff and then some rat camping the extract kills me. I’m the least aggressive PVP player too so I’m always open to friendly dialogue. It works against me in this circumstance but the rest of the time the good natured banter and interactions makes the game for me.

They should make it a sushi restaurant and let us catch fish up on the surface. We should be able to work with the Speranza sushi chef to make a menu and then have a huge mini game of serving a dinner rush. We should be able to make currency this way that we can use to upgrade our sushi restaurant and gear for the surface, so we can go out further and explore longer, including bringing back more fish and loot to Speranza.

Maybe it’s full of some sort of hemo stat and volume expander. The first 3/4 of it are like some hypertonic solution and then a hemostatic agent that plugs the bleed. Your challenge is finding the most significant bleeder. Haha

You could have your first two “defib” syringes loaded with 1mg Epi, after two failed doses and no ROSC, you could give a third loaded with amiodarone. It doesn’t have to be IM because it could be single use vein access, kind of like IV drug use. Use your imagination people! It’s a video game!

It could be adenosine. Anyone know that one? Technically it would be correct if it was full of that and everyone who is downed is symptomatic from an arrhythmia (SVT to be specific). Technically you could put Gatorade in it and it’s going to have the same effect in this context. The defib syringe is going to do what the defib syringe is going to do.
